Frank and I discussing the initial impressions of the Aero Precision Solus. Many of the features it has on initial inspection appear to be above its weight class. I am excited to get it to the range and see what it can do.
I was super excited to get my Solus action. When I had it in my hand I was a bit underwhelmed by the lack of smoothness, and then neither of my origin barrels would headspace on it. I have heard they’ve since adjusted some things, and their customer service was top notch helping me out. For getting into the sport this option is absolutely amazing! There are a lot of aero fans out there, me included, and I think they’ll refine it over time and make it even harder to beat! Is it an impact? No, but it’s 1/3 less the cost. And their barreled actions for 1150 almost make me want to try it again!
