Hawa ka direction ke mutabikkya plane take off ya landing easily kar sakta hai??. Example mumbai runway par take off west me hai AUR hawa ka rush bhi west se east par zyaada tar hai.
Airport Authority Of India Has Given Mumbai To Use Rwy27 which is In West For Takeoff And Landing Both As Other Runways Have Bad Conditions Like Sea Breeze and High Towets. Most Suitable Runway To use At Mumbai Is Rwy27 so any Aircraft inbound Or Outbound Is Taking the use of Rwy27 irrespective of Wind as Normally In Mumbai It is a Cat III landing where pilots Do a AutoLand which is because of bad visibility.

Very true. The fatal accidents of Air India Express flights 1344 of Calicut and flight 812 of Mangalore are very apt examples of the same. Losing precious length of runway without touching down beyond the touchdown marker is always risky and it's better to hit the main gear asap or to immediately hit toga and go around. All these decisions are taken in split seconds when 75000 kg of metal + human lives are travelling at more than 250 kms per hour during landing.. and one decision of yours matters the most in split second whether it will lift off again, land safely or overshoot the runway
