I have both. They are both great tools. If you already have effect pedals that you find useful, I think the Aeros is the best choise. If you don’t have any, or they suck, the Headrush offers quite a lot: The effects for vocals and acoustic guitar are great, the effects for electric guitar not so good. That’s understandable, as Headrush have pedals for that particular use (Pedalboard and Gigboard) that the Looperboard could compete with. In my opinion the Aeros has most to offer the singer/songwriter who tend to use multiple song parts and drums that goes along (assuming you use the BeatBuddy). With the BeatBuddy and the Maestro this works flawless, and when you get used to the “live” drums that BeatBuddy offers (with intros, verse, chorus, bridge, transitions, outros) then the onboard static drum patterns of the Headrush are not that exiting anymore. If you tend to use fewer song parts, and like to work more with layers, then the Headrush might be your best choise. My personal choise, after working with both, is the Singular Sound trio Aeros, BeatBuddy and Maestro.
thanks for your quick, clear and yet thorough exposition. Im looking for a loop pedal that can give me more of a physical control over my setup. I mostly use VSTs, with Ableton..controlled by a plethora of MIDI instruments. Im sort of multi-instruimentalist. I recently switched from Logic Pro, and i am finding it hard to getting used to.. so i thought the Aeros might give me a feel closer to my old RC-50 . In the meantime i have realized they have released the MIDI Maestro. That one alone, as a MIDI controller, might work as an Ableton MIDI controller, huh ? What do you reckon? Thanks again ;)
I guess im asking the wrong place but does any of you know of a tool to get back into an instagram account?? I stupidly lost my password. I appreciate any tips you can offer me.
@Emiliano Aidan Thanks for your reply. I found the site through google and Im in the hacking process now. Takes a while so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Dude....you bailed out on this video....you just told us the facts. We want your opinion. You -and other channels like yours; are watched as a voice for the people. !We want to know what you think! Besides, you can drive more comment activity by taking a point of view. People are great at disagreeing and have a desire to shout out from a mountain top. Tell people what YOU think - watch the comments go. Ask people what they think - the comments go slow...
Thanks for the feedback. As a dealer of both these products I do need to remain somewhat politically correct. I have great relationships with both companies so the goal was to list the differences and let the viewers make the right choice for them. Nevertheless I get your point and perhaps I could revisit this topic in a future vid.
Firmware 2.0.3 now on looperboard I chose to get the looperboard more inputs and outputs and features plus it's heavy freaking duty! I have a beat buddy and VL3 for vox, use Helix Rack for guitars and bass. Waiting to get Midi Maestro for my Beatbuddy and looperboard control (hopefully). Also use Studio one 5 and Ez Bass and Superior drummer 3 for making loops and drum/ bass backing tracks.
Quick question Pedal Guy, I updated to new firmware after backing up 2.0.2 files on my PC, after I rebooted LB the internal loops were gone and I couldn't find them on my backup files, the loops files was empty. I'm sure I followed all the instructions. Thanks
I have both and use them together, best of both worlds . Are there more people like me ? It would be great video :the Aeros before the Looperboard and synced trrough the beatbuddy ,that’s the way I use these magic tools or vocals versa ....unlimited possibilities 😊 Love your videos Pedalguy !🎸🔥🐉🎶🎶🎶Canigo Waziru
Interesting. Why do you connect the Looperboard and the Aeros? Is it to use the effects of the Looperboard while looping with the Aeros, or is there som kind of workflow that you only get by using them simultaneously? I'm thinking of selling my Looperboard, leaving only the Aeros, but maybe I should rethink ...
Do you notice that in some points and parts you referred to both as "the looper board" instead of differentiating them by brand or directed name. You confuse the f. Of all. You ain't helpful at all by not even knowing which one you are referring to.... Jezzz
I understand why you tell us it is our opinion that counts, not yours, but I’m watching your video PRECISELY for your opinion not mine. I don’t have both loopers in front of me, you do, and I want to know how you like them and which one you like better, not be left guessing which one “I find better” on the basis of watching a video. As an adult, I trust myself to be able to handle someone else’s opinion without it taking over my own mind. Otherwise thanks for the comparison video.
Appreciate the feedback. Doing these "VS" vids are always on shaky ground as there are always feelings on both sides. At this point, I don't think the Looperboard is in production anymore so it might be a better idea to lean towards the Aeros.
Hey pedal guy, thanks for all your videos especially for the Headrush Lopper board. I own it and still learning how to use it. Do you have any idea why they chose to discontinue production of such a great product?
Good morning pedal guy, always following your videos. By the way, what's your name? To use with Kemper Profile and several Boss pedals which one do you recommend? Eros Loop Studio vs Headrush Looperboard. Greetings from Brazil.
