UPDATE 8/2/24:
This is the last recording of a public Aerosmith Performance. “Walk this Way” was the final song played during Aerosmith’s Farewell Tour 9/9/23 UBS Arena (Elmont, NY). Followed by Joe Perry birthday tribute.
From Aerosmith’s announcement on 8/2/24: “We’ve always wanted to blow your mind when performing. As you know, Steven’s voice is an instrument like no other. He has spent months tirelessly working on getting his voice to where it was before his injury. We’ve seen him struggling despite having the best medical team by his side. Sadly, it is clear, that a full recovery from his vocal injury is not possible. We have made a heartbreaking and difficult, but necessary, decision - as a band of brothers - to retire from the touring stage.“
UPDATE 9/13/23:
Steven Tyler announced on Monday that he is heartbroken to announce the need to postpone the six subsequent concerts following vocal chord damage he sustained during this concert.
One thing apparent from the show is that Steven Styler and Joe Perry put on an incredible performance. The energy that emanated from them was unbelievable. You can see it in this video. Look at the close up sequence around minute 1:07 and you can see how much energy Steven Tyler evoked. It was a pleasure to watch this performance and it is incredibly sad that he injured himself as a result.

Best Rock Concert I have ever seen and that is saying something today because I'm 66 and have worked in live entertainment entire life and fell in a bucket of shit as a very young 20 year old man and got to run a theatre stage that was pumping rock shows in like crazy. I saw ACDC in all forms. On that stage on their first USA tour as a headliner. Talked to Angus and showed him how to get to the balcony and back through fire escapes and blocked some doors for him. You can tell his voice is hurt. He's practically talking instead of singing. One of the greatest to ever do it. Thank you for giving us so much.
