Ningning reminds me of Wendy so much in terms of octaves, diversity, being able to harmonize with each member. She is truly a gem. I cannot wait to see how she grows and dominated in the industry.
Reminds me of Bae from NMIXX. Both are not the strongest vocalists of their groups, but their voices play an important roll during the whole song, in my opinion.
The thing that I kinda dont like with SM is that their harmonies and even iconic adlibs at hidden vocals are produced to sound very quiet. While there are times that you can hear them but most of the time they can sound less noticeable. Sometimes you need a very good pair of earphones to hear it while other groups have a very noticeable harmonies. I hope they flaunt it next time because they kill on harmonies and vocals.
One time i saw a comment about that some radios and some earphones just cannot handle that much so they had to lower it so you can actually listen to it
Winter’s “yeah im coming” part is absolutely mind blowing. The way she sings is so powerful, and she adds such a special quality to all of aespa’s music. she truly is gifted 🩷

these things are what set sm apart from everyone else. they never miss any details, perfect production since the 90s and still hold themselves to the standards that they set
for anyone wanting to hear the backing vocals only, just look up : aespa drama dolby atmos stems, and go to the top rear overhead chapter :) they are heavenly, and most of them are done by the demo singer (with some hidden adlibs from our girls)
i love how big and sweeping the pre-choruses and outro sound with the hidden vocals turned up. it makes the song sound even more like a powerful action movie
either main vocal get the most or least line, SM main vocalist usually have many hidden vocal and adlib. can't wait to hear ningning's vocal in the recording session. the vocal in this song is craxy
I love how chorus sounds ok this version. It sounds more human like, you hear the actual voice of the girls, not the combination that sounds kinda different. The same in spicy pre-chorus

Ningning is doing the harmony part in the chorus. the other members are doubling the main melody line too. 0:54 you can also hear karina doubling the main melody line in another version that removes all the instrumentals. 1:01 winter also is the chorus harmonizing. you can hear at least three members' voices.

I think it fits even better than the original. The hidden vocals sound AI and robotic yet harmonizing, which really fits the songs aura and the groups concept. I wished hidden vocals could be heard louder by any group, because some groups layering is very impressive but it’s sad you can’t really hear them
Guys ik that the rest of the members like gigi, ningning, and winter are amazing..but can we appreciate Karina for a minute? I’ve only seen 2 comments (so far) talking about Karina’s little highnote at the 2:41. She only ever gets talked about for her visuals but never her singing. Like, it’s almost like ppl are saying she has no talent in this song without saying she has no talent in this song. So like, can we appreciate her just for a little bit? She deserves more.
