Honest to God, even by AESPA's standards this song and its mv are INCREDIBLE!! I'm teary eyed right now.

I feel that my initial theory was right. They're in Hallucination Quest like in Savage but now in Real World setting, they fight against the deep fakes pretending to be them that create the drama and causing trust issues and confusing the girls who's who, remember the instructions given at the start of the mv by doing the opposite is the only way to escape, you'll notice that that's what they did to wake up from the hallucination thus, breaking the mirror that they once was trapped in. I also like the symbolism of the vinyl record in the beginning then within the mv where they also mentioned breaking the cycle of trauma plus the fact that it is an analog type of sound storage in contrast to their concept within digital realm. I do believe that every mv, track videos, and short films they all tied together. This is why I love aespa so much coz they tickle my ears and brain just like red velvet although I'd say I understand aespa's lore more than rv

This is definitely their best title track. The mv is straight fire 🔥, wasn't ready for it. Wach and every one of these women are in another level here, and absolutely stunning and gorgeous. This might for sure be Aespa's best.

I just remembered while watching ur vid abt 4 rules in the drama. The first one is refering to the rules that nævis has said in the first episode of SMCU "black mamba" in the post credit naevis said "there're rules u must abide while you're in kwangya: do not ever look back, follow the butterfly, keep moving forward". The second rule remind me of when they get illusion in savage mv. They were like in a box, like a glass box. And the rule said to shake hand if your reflection give u their hand. I think it means that it's the way you break through the black mamba spell and get out of the illusion. And the last one i think it's quite direct. Do not affraid of the light. Follow it and maybe you'll reach your goal/destination/way out.

Bruh... I could be totally wrong but after f*ck tons of viewings im almost 100% sure i got the story of the MV. ( incoming theory ) The girls in the opening ( all black outfits on the red stage ) i think are the "Evil/Corrupted" versions of Aespa ( like the "mirror realm" wich would make sense with the 2nd rule and other moments where mirrors are used but most importantly shattered. I would even say that this part represents them planning the switch up / conjuring the magic ) The girls in the car are the real Aespa. The crash is the "evil" version trying to eliminate the real Aespa ( you only see the headlights of the car coming... Light can blind your eyes... Rule number 3) At that moment evil Aespa took real Aespa's place ( except for Winter and maybe Giselle. That's the part im not 100% on because, i also think that it actually could be "good" Winter crashing them because the girls in the car are already the "evil" Aespa and that whole thing is some sort of loop that keeps repeating until she finds the right way to end it: the only way to escape is by doing the opposite...) Thats why after the crash the first shot is a lighter being lit by (evil) Karina and she's looking at the car burning with an obvious look of satisfaction on her face. That would explain why Karina steps in the building and starts slicing and dicing everyone but most importantly why the girls are fighting Karina. Fight scenes hold very important details, when Karina flips Ning over she then gives her a look of Oh its you And NingNing gives here an acknowledgement look Implying the realisation that they both didnt know that they both took the place of their "good counterparts" Right after that Karina "disposes" of Giselle and again there is a look exchange but this one is different, i think that Karina kills Giselle right when Winter(good) drops in and sees it so she fights Karina. ( this is the complicated part, because we dont see Karina kill giselle but we also dont see here spare her, if she spares her its because she realises its the "evil" Giselle, if she kills her its because it was "good" Giselle. Wich led me to think of the loop thing where Winter tries to prevent this, thats why she rushes on the bike to get to the building to try and get there before Karina kills Giselle but whatever its very clear in my mind but very hard to word ) Many shots of Winter on the bike with car headlights that seem to be chasing her ( light can blind... Run away as fast as possible ) Then there is a shot of Winter turning around quickly because "she feels a presence in the dark" ( rule number 1...) Presence being "Evil" NingNing Then NingNing lets go of Winter from the rooftop The fall scene is important because you see 2 silhouettes falling ( probably symbolizing that its not her first fall, again aligns with the loop theory) and at some point it flips upside down hinting at the 4th rule. Then in the Bridge... Definetly Evil NingNing standing by the flaming car with her conquering look/expression but then we get Winter who is sad and tired looking ( like she cant get the loop to stop )going back to the crash and you again see car headlights coming for her but this time she dosent run away ( ride away in fact but the idea is the same ) And when the light "blinds" her she gets a vision ( you see the crash , then some fast cuts and traveling , the Karina fight, noticeably this time in color, it all ends with her eye opening, def symbolizing a "vision/revelation" ) and THEN she understand that she needs to do the oposite so that why she dosent drop Karina from the rooftop but instead firms up her grip to NOT let her go. Its like all the scenario probably happens multiple times but since its a 3 minutes video we cant see it all because it would have been a 3hour movie. Like i could definetly be wrong, but like i said im almost 100% i got the plot right ( maybe not explaining it the best of ways ) and even if im wrong, im sure im not far off at all. All this to say im obsessed with this song and MV😅

well ok first thing the aesthetic and visual aspect of the Mv are incredible the way the mv is shot, the transitions, the camera movements etc... are very cool. the MV is very black (literally with very little light) the different sets and the CGI are also of good quality. for the story telling AESPA never disappoints so of course SM gets a little confused with all their virtual history of SMUVERSE but at least they try to take KPOP to a higher level. for me the current story line is in a certain way similar to DC's nightmare saga. Karina is often the savior in the AESPA universe just like JIU in DC. what is interesting this time is that for me Karina and WINTER as well as Giselle and Ning ning seem to be in opposition like evil twins Winter is the mirror of Karina but an evil version. all like Ning ning is the evil version of Giselle. in the katana fight scene Karina faces Winter and Ningning so it seems that the group is divided into 2 Winter and Ningning vs Karina and Giselle. curious to see where this story line is going but there are similarities with the MV "the girl"
