SM confirmed this is the end of the black mamba storyline and SMCU season one. also yes the aes are not meant to look like them, they are essentially an extension of each girl while still being their own person. naevis is the virtual girl with the short purple hair in this mv and controls the portal between the FLAT (where aes live) and the real world. shes essentially the heimdall to aespa's asgard.

I need you to watch episode 1 and 2 of the SMCU aka their LORE because it is arguably the coolest thing to ever come out of kpop. Once you watch it then you can go back and watch the title tracks and see where everything falls into place. It is the best part about following Aespa outside of their music. 👀 Their storyline and what the ae essentially stand for is actually really deep and well thought out and you won’t know that until you watch episode 1 and 2. Naevis is the character who you said looked really good. The others are AE. They are created to look like what they “want to look like on social media”.

aespa doesn't have a ton of "variety" content. They were on Weekly Idol during "Next Level" era (episode 513... you can find ENG sub versions on YT) They did 2 videos with the YT channel MMTG (episode 214-1 and 214-2 ENG sub), and they were also on "Knowing Bros" (episode 303 I believe) but I have yet to find a full subbed version of it (just lots of clips). But other than from what I personally have seen it's mostly "vlog" stuff. People can add more if they know something I haven't mentioned.

I was waiting on Savage for quite a while but finally got into it at the beginning of this year and I was like OH ok. I actually didn't like the song that I bet you like hahaha Lucid Dream? I looove Iconic and Yeppi Yeppi so much though. Aenergy is a skip. Also Winter bias, but I also have not gone beyond their music - so if you get into any of their other content with reacts I'd love to go along with that with you. I do know more about the lore and whatnot a BIT though. Like I know their storyline haha :D OK! GIRLS! Yes, SM opens their wallet for aespa for sure - I think they are heavily invested in this concept, but I am here for it. I really love them. I looooved hearing Winter really featured strongly in some of the standout moments as well and Giselle's rap, yes. Such a great video. BLACK MAMBA IS DEFEATED! HUZZAH! I feel like their performance energy is upgraded in this video as well - I'm getting more energy from them since their debut rather than some of that more blank cool girl vibe if that makes any sense. The confidence! It's here! They deserve it.

Tbh not my fav song from them. Maybe I was overhyped waiting for this, or maybe it is just bcs aespa was too good to this day. But this comeback was kinda disappointing for me. Title track is the most weak part of the album I think. For me, 'Next Level' is still the next level and I don't think that in the near future something from aespa will top that. But still it is just my opinion, no hate, I wish girls the best. Maybe after for more listens I will kinda like that, who knows. :)
