The vocals on this group tho fits right into SM's archetype. The can all ride the beat well too

It's funny how rapping used to be SM's weak point. The transitions between the rap sections, the crazy vocal parts, the bridge and the chorus are better than in Next Level. So after a few listening the changes were less jarring. I like Savage is kinda of like a combo of BM and NL but an upgraded version. Since this is their first title track, I guess SM wanted to Flex how talented the members are. Winter had a shot rap part. Karina showed off her vocals and didn't just rap.

I am pretty sure Apple is sponsoring all of the SM groups. I started suspecting it when Red Velvet had that random floating Airpod at the Beginning of the Queendom MV. NCT 127 were using iMac's and Macbook Air/Pro in the Who is Sticker Video (the one where all the members have a suddent glow up). Then in the "Dreamer" track video they were blatantly showing them using iphones to record videos/take selfies. And then in the one of the Behind the Scenes Sticker videos you hear one of the members say that Tayong's phone is a iPhone (which I believe would normally be edited out if they weren't sponsored by Apple or were sponsored by LG or Samsung)

It's worth to watch. Honestly the album is so good to choose only one song. Musically probably Iconic and Yeppi Yeppi are the most intriguing. I think they're very title track worthy. Lucid dreams is a must listen like you're comfort song. Aenergy is such a hype song and in the lyrics you can find out about their story and their worldview (kwangya aes ..).

Efra mentioned that Aespa (pronounced as S/ PAH) has a storyline but it's not only them as every single artist in SM ent. has storylines that are connected to a bigger story. A perfect example would be like the Marvel Universe. To understand the storyline you must go back to where it all started which was on EXO's first song (MAMA) (SM fans you can correct me if I'm wrong but that's what I remember). There are playlist on YT where you can watch it in order and understand the SMCU (SM Culture Universe) and it's storyline. Basically in short all of SM ent.'s music videos are all connected in some way. Ezra you said you want to watch a video discussing the concept, i wish you luck as it is a lot to take in. It is a storyline that has been in the entertain ever since EXO, so there is a lot to catch up on, but i do encourage both of you to watch a shorter explanation of SM's storyline. So that you guys have an idea when you watch MV's of artists under SM ent. and somewhat understand why the music videos are made differently from other kpop artists. AnYwAyS love your videos and keep going!

They debuted in 2018 with the album named "I Am Not" mostly a Hip-hop/rap genre, they also had a pre-debut album which is "Mixtape" with the same genre.
