I like that you said it's like a calm before the storm because it's exactly how I see this entire mini. Half of it is supposed to be calm and have that melancholic feeling while half is celebrations and partying and feeling the summer vibes and I think by the end of it we'll be introduced to the new villain for AE1, interrupting this short-lived happy bubble they'll be in as they celebrate being in the real world with Naevis
@@taengoonim Yes, if you watched SMCU Episode 3, after the "death" of Naevis and the Black Mamba, we were introduced to a villain (BoA) that could either be the villain for the next era or the actual main villain who created the Black Mamba and will also create the next villain they'll face in the new era
I think the "Da ra ra" parts are Naevis, and the response parts from the call and responses (like the "this city's so pretty with your lights on" right after Winter's, and the "get it get it yeah lets go" part right after Giselle').

I heard that the voice of naevis would be an AI combining some vocalist (not like soloist or SM girlgroup vocalist but just vocalist) like it can be SM vocal trainers
Totally understand, listening and watching felt like being in a dark and mysterious dream where you have no control over what's coming next, but you know something is lurking in the shadows and you're just waiting for it to finally come into the light. Beautiful but haunting and full of trepidation, I may be a masochist coz I loved it - also loved their new track I'm Unhappy

The follow up rap of winter/ning ning/giselle and the darara part was all Naevis. Naevis' voice is a vocal synthesizer (like hatsune miku/vocaloid) rather than an actual persons voice
The feel of the song felt like the sweet, mellow intro to a symphonic metal track. Throughout the song I was waiting for an electric guitar and heavy drums to introduce themselves, together with fervent symphonic orchestra, and for the singing to take on a more powerful, operatic tone.

According to reports SM released Nævis is voice is a combination of 12 voice actors so technically we won't really know who is behind it. As for her parts it is those dararara adlibs along with the bridge. Her parts were represented by those still cuts in between close ups of the girsl, of that made sense

I think someone told me they took the voice of like 12 or 20 voice actors and combined them for nævis. And I don’t think she necessarily came to debut. She was punished for going to help the girls cause she wasn’t allowed in kwangya so she asked to come to the real world (hence the name of the song). They just took advantage of it and they are using her lol
the song was originally for naevis' debut but the girls (aespa) loved the song so much that they "snatched" it from her...also it was for their lore/concept to officially introduce and welcome naevis in the REAL world!!
