It's 100% the camera work that's making them look bad. They're just focusing on the wrong members at the wrong times. I think they did great considering the circumstances. It's hard to dance on a small platform that is MOVING. It might not be moving fast, but it's moving. I used to perform/sing on a float in Universal Studios Japan and it is VERY difficult to maintain your balance. They even had us strapped down with harnesses just in case. These girls are just relying on their own balance. They did great. I love them, and I'm super proud of them.🖤
If you watched the recording live (good quality), you can see their hands and legs are all red from the cold! It's freezing and sm sent them in that clothing. They deserve better!
Well... most of the performers had to go thru the same thing. The weather was in the mid-40s that day.. definitely coat or at least sweater weather. For some reason, they make most people take their outerwear off when they perform. I'm sure it's something they knew ahead of time and knew the risk didn't outweigh the discomfort of the cold.. plus im sure they were paid well. AND.. theres live video from when they were farther back in the parade route (before they got to Macys Herald Square for the national broadcast) and they had their coats on then. They must've taken them off as they approached the main location.
Aespa definitely did well my problem we're the red people whatever they made the dance weird with just doing random things am glad aespa is been recognized, i thought aespa would have performed on a big stage in front of people but just there but anyways aespa did good ik it's cold am glad aespa is okay❤💅💞
Because they probably don't know the song and probably don't know them but tried their best to jam with the song, don't fault these people who are trying to represent women's excellence in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
@@ZeeTaylor25 they deserve to be faulted. They blocked the view of the REAL talent from viewers. Who ever came up with that idea needs to be working in another industry.
Me too,i'm so annoyed with that weird red outfit dancer,i thought they were performing in stage like regular concert but reality ends up with those red dancers

I have no idea why they were there BLOCKING THE VIEW. They could have easily stepped out of the way but still be near the float. Poor aespa deserved better.
well.. there are the right places to watch the performances and theres right places to enter Macy's to see Santa right after the parade and beating the insane crowd.... take your pick lol
It sucked that they put them on one side of the float. We couldn't see them on the side that we were on. All the rest of the celebrities were up in the center of the float where everyone could see them.
Yeah I need to stop expecting western camel work to be the same as the production in Korea in Korean festivals have their own camera problems this is a national broadcast after all
