@@sof5611 as if the 90s wasn't just one year before the year 2000 😭 the decades are quite literally next to each other, there's quite a lot of overlap in the late 90s and early 2000s.. obviously !
They were a hit during their time. Now, Karina is a mother of 2 daughters. Giselle, a mother of 1 son. Ningning, a mother of 2 daughters and 1 son, and was married to a co-artist Wonbin. While, Winter decided to not get married and have a family.
it’s so fun to watch these type of stuff (with all 4th gen in general) knowing the members were actually BORN IN THAT YEAR AND NINGNING’S MOTHER WASNT PREGNANT OF HER YET 💀💀 SO ITS PRETTY COOL THINKING HOW AESPA WOULD BE SO INTERESTING IN THE 2000S
My mom was a big fan of aespa. She went most of their concerts. I listened to their songs and I can say that it's the reason why many people adored this group and very popular that time.
If Aespa debuted in the 2000’s they would’ve come across the beloved iconic superstar Miss Kwon BoA in her teens carrying the entire future of the K-pop industry on her back ! BoA is untouchable! She’s the Queen of K-pop for a reason - her groundbreaking legacy and making herself a household name from the moment she debuted at 13 years old - with Both SM entertainment in financial hardship and the economy at-large in shambles, doing the thing all on her own under pressure ~ One thing I love her for is her humility. She’s aware of her impact, and doesn’t need to show off her title when she’s already well-respected by many other K-pop artists who feel inspired by her work.
This is so fun, creative and well-made!! It filled me with so much nostalgia as I watched these commercials growing up. Also the voice sounds exactly like the radio host I grew up with too haha. Would love to see more groups and longer vids!!
I love them, but they would've had a hard time competing with Aaliyah, P!nk, Britney, Mandy Moore, Janet Jackson, Madonna, Mỳa and Gwen Stefani, like 2000 had a lot of singers that are still very famous today
@yunawinx Then they wouldn't have fit in given what was popular in the 2000s, like SNSD debuted in 2007 with Girls and they're still the nation's girl group
Wow, I can watch Aespa on my Telefunken, Graetz and Nordmende TV sets with full 4:3 aspect ratios! Now where is that Philips CD player that will hook up to the Bang and Olufsen receiver.
they are so popular that time, I remember dancing Dreams Come True with my classmates during lunch break haha.. Now I have 3 kids and I am shocked that they discover aespa specially my oldest daughter.. good old days❤️
This is literally one of the best and most creative videos I have seen in all my years being a K-Pop fan. Huge congratulations for creating an absolute MASTERPIECE!!! 👏🏼👑
hi everyone thank u sm for the kind comments im glad you liked this :) I’ll be uploading new stuff soon! I initially thought this wld just flop but I’m glad I’m able to reach an audience of people who enjoy this content
What Text - To - Speech did you use for the the narrator? 🙇♂️🙇♂️🙇♂️ (By the way, You might want to pin your comment because it's really far down the comment section. 😅)
the 808s in the background music kind of break the illusion of it being in 2000 but the visual and interview sound quality really brings me back :'). If they really debuted in 2000 with the material they have now I honestly believe they would change the world.
I wasn't convinced cause they had no white filter during 90s and 2000s everyone was proud of their brown skins and flawed imperfections. a for effort tho
so true bestie they fit so much cause their entire concept comes from the japanese Girl Group 'Speed' (1995). Min heejin plagiarized their full MV for their song 'Body and Soul (1997) to NewJeans 'Attention'. 😍
