Relate. How much people hate winter for not smiling but to be honest most of them don’t smile. Ningning don’t karina don’t only giselle smile most of the time. Guess they don’t care how talented you are. Your clean dance and your good voice are vain when you don’t bit your lip just to please your haters. They don’t care about real talent. Why don’t they talk about voice quality, concept and dance. They only want to see the weakest spot.
It’s because it’s the only thing they can criticize aespa with so they’re clinging to it for dear life. They got digitals, physicals, awards, fame, talent etc. they used to get criticized for ‘lipsyncing’ too but now that aespa’s been singing live more often and is doing great, they only have the ‘bad stage presence’ narrative left which isn’t even THAT bad. There’s still room for improvement and I think people forget they’re still technically rookies.
@@alexally2769 yeah, honestly aespa have time to improve and they are doing it little by little. The problem I think it's partly due to the 4th gen so used to overexertion of facial expressions that if the fan don't see it they accuse the fans of lucking stage presence. In my opinion aespa are doing quite fine, especially Ning Ning and Karina, they as a group need to be more confident, but that will come with time. And all the hate they get doesn't help at all
I'm not a stan but i respect them and i can see how amazing they are and trust me when you see someone complain about the stage presence that’s mean they have nothing else to argue about. These girls have everything and it's amazing even though they’re rookies
Honestly, after watching the whole video several times, I think they’re actually singing live this time. At the parts where it’s hard to sing loud clearly, sometimes the member singing doesn’t dance as hard as they usually do. Also they changed the rap part and sang louder than the backtrack near the end. So thanks SM. But the backtrack is still really loud like during Coachella.
i was there and the backtrack was INSANELY loud. in general the music was louder than the girls but you heard them trying to sing over it ! plus in every stage they modified it and added ad libs to ensure they were singing live ! :D

The actual attendees of the showcase been claiming the the girls sang it live with loud backtrack ~ people paid to see them performing live. it doesn't make sense if they just gonna lipsynced everything... maybe aespa should sing off key to prove that they were singing live? i wish SM provide them instrumental with low backtrack and put their mic louder...
I don't think they lack stage presence...they look so BORED AND TIRED. I think is more about feeling mentally drained. Their faces look like "I just want this to end soon". From my point of view...someone or something is making them feel this way. When I'm so fucked up of everyone in my life I don't like to give the best version of myself, I just give the bare minimum. At least that's what I feel watching their faces...they aren't feeling the song. Reminds me a lot the SNSD stage during MAMA 2012, They were so tired everyone saw it in their faces.
Well I guess it's a combination of things, they were recently in America, came back in Korea for a variety show, plus he comeback etc... I don't think they had much time to rest
they are good in live vocals, dance and visuals. But no energy?? they really really gotta work on stage presence and handling live stage. dont tell me they are a new group because groups who debuted after aespa have been killing in international and domestical stages like IVE in germany, dream concert , Nmixx in LA, stayc in LA …lesserafirm …….
Yeah, but like 3 of the groups you named don't have remotely the same high notes aespa have. Calm down now. It's true that aespa lucks in stage presence but they are doing quite well. Even the groups you named are lacking in something. They will work on it little by little
Okay so here’s the thing u literally trained to be singers dancers performers for months/years but then u again never sign live …….what is this behaviour. I know its the company not letting them sign live but I literally never got impressed by their any live performances.All the Aespas fans can come after me but that literally is the truth. N those people who r saying them being new I don’t think that’s the issue for not having stage presence there r many other groups who debuted after them but they literally have better live vocals n stage presences.
They are literally singing live. All the people that attended the show can attest to that. Just cause they don’t sound like they are out of breath and having a hard time singing their parts doesn’t mean they aren’t singing live
