Wow, despite Ningning has a high pitch voice her lower notes are suprisingly very good in that Whitney Houston cover. She needs showcasing that more in the future

It makes sense she's assigned The Main Vocalist. Her vocal tone, range, techniques! Everything! are already TOP LEVEL despite her being a 6 months old rookie! Her voice and sense of musicality is flexible that everything she sings sound nice, captivating and enjoyable (proven by this video). OUR DISNEY PRINCESS VOCALIST! WINTER - HER VOICE COLOR! IS RARE AF! THINK OF Rosé BLACKPINK, JOY Red Velvet, and ONEW SHINee! This kind of distinctive and unique voice color is WINTER's strength, alongside her confidence, her personality (always want to have fun and entertain others) and techniques. Her range of vocal is second place compared to NINGNING (so far) who can pull it more effortlessly BUT her voice color makes it very interesting! Not to mention her alluring anf unique pronounciations made her parts always trending, addictive to the listeners. WINTER spiced aespa songs up! GISELLE - Giselle is a veteran vocalist, great at group vocals (our choir girl!) AND IT SHOWS (check out Black Mamba background vocals, especially the W & NN high note part). She's not just aespa Main Rapper, she's also a strong contender for Main Vocalist tbh because of her experiences and musical senses. Even her range is still unknown at this point...I feel like she can swap with NINGNING at any time (because she said NINGNING is a great rapper too...man, did you realized yet NINGNING is a crazy TRIPLE THREATS idol, contending for Main Dancer position too?) 😭🔥 ACES-PA KARINA - here she comes, our resident Alto (according to Giselle she's the only Alto in aespa, the three others are sopranos). Like Winter, her voice is very distinctive too and add special dignified and BOLD flavor to aespa songs! KARINA's voice actually can be hard to suit most songs but once she found songs that can emphasize her voice color (VIDEO ABOVE - LEE HI 'ROSE' IS A GREAT EXAMPLE, JUST WATCH HOW THE MC REACTED!), she is very striking! It's also make her rapping parts very baddass and outstanding too! æspa is perfect!
Everyone in Aespa sounds like a soprano so far, Karina is the closest to lower sitting voice type but she’s definitely not a alto (it’s contralto actually). Giselle was an Alto on choir but it doesn’t mean her vocal type is, alto is just a choir role many soprano’s take it on it’s just the position you sing.
@@zett1807 yes, people keep mistaking it. Alto in choir is a position not a voice type. Like the deepest voice of female is contralto, sometimes can be referred to as “alto” and that’s freaking rare not only in Korea but also around the world, no female vocalists in Kpop is a contralto. The one between soprano and contralto is mezzo. But Karina’s voice so far has not show any qualities of a mezzo either. They all are soprano. People should know there are different types of sopranos as well.
Winter vocals colour is amazing.she has a lot of variety in her voice and i know that she trained well with yyj.i just have a feeling that she doesn’t show her full potential yet cuz she looks shy.but i know that she has a lot of potential to be one of the best vocalist in 4th gen
i do think winter is on the quiet side (introvert?) but regardless, she slays both with her vocals and performance too^^ I'm excited too if she levels up her skills even more cos i'd ASCEND by that time
Someone who doesn't know them and kpop would swear after watching this video that Aespa has been in the game for years now when they are just rookies🤣 they have it all: talent, visuals and nice personalities
the fact that they just casually sing these song with no attempt is very impressive. now imagine them on the stage singing with power. they are 4th gen queen yall.
If Giselle and Karina were in different groups they can already become the Main Vocal, just proves how amazing Ningning and Winter are that they are the Main/Lead Vocal of such a Vocally strong group
@@bearbear12 minjeong said they are all rounder because all of them can sing, dance, and rap. But doesn't mean they have no fixed positions for vocals, dance, and rap. I think it's safe to say that Ning2 is a main vocal, giselle is a main rapper and karina is a main dancer because these girls obviously look "main" for each positions.

I have been looking for a group like MAMAMOO who have this kind of vocals. At first I doubted it cuz they have hard choreo but boi I was so wrong. Wish they release a title track that highlight their voices
They are all so gorgeous I don’t get it and ningning and winters vocals are soo amazing and even karina or Giselle can be a sub vocalist if they wanted they have good vocals as well ❤️
see this is my problem with SM. they hire super talented artists but don't let them shine in Stage performances??? how come we're not getting any live performance of Next Level yet? istg my patience for SM is on thin ice. they waste their artists so much!
Aespa did sing live. From Next Level era. Bcoz we can hear Ningning's voice crack in one of the performances. I think Sm tends to make the pre-recorded vocals louder during the stages.

And in Music Core aespa still sang it live because some part like Ayayaya they didn't sing it ( cause that part also like include in hidden vocals )
