As someone who didn't understand Aether Raids beyond a surface level, this gave me so much understanding to actually try to compete in an obtusely complex game at this point. If it wasn't for this video and a beginner google doc I was linked, I'd have already re-quit the game.
Oh MAN if only I had this guide 4 months ago. Thank you for filling one of the BIGGEST gaps in the FEH new/returning player experience. This is so much more helpful than the infinite tooltips we get in-game (obviously). Keep up the killer work and hope we do get to see the advanced guide

I would just love to see the reaction of a person that only plays mainline fire emblem games to this video. The amount of know how you need to play a competetive gamemode like aether raids optimaly is insane. When people say that Feh is just a watered down fire emblem experience i could not disagree more, the amount of strategie involved in this one single gamemode is insane. Great video! Been playing since launch and played AR since the first season and it was really nice getting a little refresher on all the strategies and know how.
would absolutely love for someone to build a detailed AR defense guide, but i also realize its a daunting task and would likely take months to prepare an hour long video just to get into the basics, and a full-on series to get through all the nuance

This video is just proof how just how complex aether raids is. In my opinion I find this one of the most fun game modes as it makes me think in every map , I only pulled off a galeforce strat like twice but it was sooooo satisfying. Overall the video broke down the most important aspects pretty clearly and the examples you showed allowed for some user preferences and flexibility on the viewers end. Wonderfully done oblivion
AR is great because it lets you hit the max rewards without having to plus ten a bunch of units and its the mode where u get to be the most creative imo. Feels great when your team you spent a lot of time building actually works as intended. I think the biggest flaw with the mode is the rewards, specifically the lack of orbs; I'd love to see them remove the monthly training tower orb grind and put those orbs in AR, switching the blessings for daily AR clears for orbs would incentivize people to play the mode even if the gameplay isn't intrinsically engaging for them.
I had no idea offense mythics were such a game changer, screw trying on my defense im going to invest in light and astra mythics. My highest merged mythic is Thorr at +2 lol

Great guide, especially in regards to explaining how scoring works. Do we know when Mirabilis is being rerun again? She's the only dancer mythic I'm missing at the moment.
Have you considered making a video showing all the orbs sources for beginners? I see a lot of videos reference monthly orb income but I have no idea how they get so many
I'd have to make a whole new account to do that if I wanted it to cover all the bases. I might do that, but realistically it would be a very large time investment
Thank you for this comprehensive guide, it was really helpful. I didn't know there were checkpoints in AR. I was always worried that if I committed too much too AR, I would be really salty when being offline and falling all the way down. Now I dissect the climb in smaller parts, which makes it easier. The scoring part + seasons explanation were also explained really well, thanks!!

Hey could you redo, your throwing alot of min max data around and I just want to do OK, not looking to get into the top numbers or anything just use a bunch of anime gals to get the daily rewards lol
