compared to every wrestling game from the last 10 years they hardly broke this one at all though.... i was hoping they'd glitch out of the ring in the barbed wire match.
@@FatherAxeKeeper Yeah, they got it to flex really really hard but not a single crash or full break? "We actually have a stable wrestling game" is a weird sentence to say. That said, goddamn it's impressive
“If you do a springboard and don’t hit anyone Aleister will land with his legs crossed in that pose.” That’s a meme from one of the past few years of WWE 2K, whichever one had Aleister as DLC for the first time. People could not stop repeating this for whatever reason
Will say to be fair, I think Stu Grayson leaving AEW for a bit might have prevented Uno from being in the game, but now Stu is back, they might want to release a Dark Order DLC that comes with all the members.
Ooh if it’s DLC, then don’t forget the new show Collision! The show itself is pretty good and I like the Monday Nitro spaceship aesthetic for a stage. Dark Order would make perfect headliners to usher that in! Maybe even some New Japan DLC or freshly turned Heel Jack Perry?
I’m just scrolling down to the comments and on the way back up, I see things get progressively more positive towards the game. Abridged thoughts: The whole package is nice! Gameplay is refreshing, reminiscent of the more video game-y wrestling games with all the rusty bells and whistles of modern gaming standards if you care about them. Would only like to see more content added to the game, especially if it means New Japan DLC with Forbidden Door (especially this past one) and the Dark Order on Collision.
Dear lord, this is the most fun I've had watching a video on YT in a long while - that Cody segment of RTE mode had me in stitches, not to mention everything from the online gameplay until the end made me OMEGALUL and had me crying. Please upload more of these in the future :D
Lmfao this video was fantastic X'D great job on the channel, the AEW gameplay has especially been so enjoyable and entertaining because of you guys, and these best of videos like this are awesome too! Keep it up, you rock \m/
For once a Day One video is more them actually having fun with the game as it's intended, as opposed to being mostly glitches! Although there's still some of that, too.
Lol what? This game is totally glitched to hell and back. Like nothings been 2K20 bad for a while but this is getting pointed out in all reviews for a reason.
I just saw some Abyss matches the other day and I'll never understand how anyone can do thumbtack faceplant spots without gouging their eyes out on one of them.
When you have a special in the Barbed wire match, throw the person into the rope & flick r stick and you will toss the other wrestler outside onto the exploding panels on the outside
I hate 2K22 cause I found it clunky, ESPECIALLY for Online. But before I'm buying this game, I need to see if the PS4 version is fixed cause that version of the game has been shafted HARD at the moment. But I'm still pumped by the game, even if it's not perfect now, I expect it to get better since there won't be a new game next year.
Better than 2K20, which people said about 2K22 when it first came out cause it honestly was on par with Fight Forever Day 1. Just hoping like 2K22 they patch it where it eventually works smoothly.
@@christophermarriott1681 it is nowhere near built from scratch, it is made of the base they had from the old wrestling games. Plus it had infinite funds. So many bugs, so little content
@@garret5761 do I? It is built on the yukes engine, omega got a lot of money from tony khan, it took more than three years, It has a lot of bugs (see the opening for the video for quick reference), it had two modes (one is a bad story mode) so it has little content and wrestlers have limited movesets, only four in the ring at the same time, no cage match, no backstage. The list goes on, what exactly is your point in saying I know nothing?
So I left a comment on the full stream when they posted it saying the game looked terrible and I would like to fix that. I assumed this game was supposed to rival WWE2k however they are actually completely different sub genres. WWE2k is technically supposed to be a simulation where you can change the settings to make it arcade. The AEW game however is an arcade game. It's not suppose to be accurate so technically this game doesn't look terrible as it's not meant to look amazing, just meant to function well.
