AEW: Fight Forever NEW GAMEPLAY (AEW Console Game) 

I like it. It definitely does need work but the models look nice. It looks like matches will have a different pace depending on who you play as because I notice this match between Statlander and Nyla Rose is slower than what I saw from Darby and Jungle Boy

I love the camera angle, The lighting is pretty damn good too. I was hoping to see better looking character models but we're all spoiled at this point. Its not bad at all. Lets hope its 4k 60

I hope that split second freeze when moves connect is only for the beta.

You can bash the art style all you want but by the models we've seen already the resemblance is there for each character and that's what matters

Camera angle reminds me of the old wrestling games I love it. But the game looks like it shouldn't be costing 70 bucks tho

I honestly don't mind the graphics at all reminds me of WWF no mercy

I just can't take the art style seriously, some of the effects like the pyro look pretty bad too, hope this is all polished up before release

2k22 will still be the best wrestling game of the decade

It's not quite as good as I hoped, looks like a budget version of 2K22. I'm glad the models have gone more the realistic 2K route instead of the roided up trailer lol Gameplay could work of its No Mercy style, but that's kinda been replicated for a modern game to almost perfection in WWE 2K22 now, so I'm wary of the janky animations not being because of the grapple system. It's a wrestling game so of course I'm gonna buy it :) but AEW 2nd place yet again judging from this

I like the mix between cartoonish and simulation

Main points from the new upcoming are game: 1. I would post-pone it for maybe at least a year or so to get a more realistic style kinda like wwe2k22 but more simulated. This is because aew is more of a hard core wrestling and story telling and having that realistic style would support the game. 1a. I would also sign with a gaming partner that is known for getting games sold as well as having good marketing. A prime example would be something like EA Sports. 2. Let the people know more about the game development. This makes the audience more invested in buying the game. In addition to this, this also builds trust between the seller and buyer. 3. Lastly this gives me wwe battlegrounds vibe and we all know how that went. In the end, I hope this new game is successful. I also believe that this won’t be aew last attempt of making a wrestling game. So I’m the future, I hope aew can give wrestling fans alike the satisfaction of a pure wrestling game that can also in some ways be better than wwe2k22

It looks promising, I think I need to see more of it. When it actually is ready. But for now, I’m torn

Hmm... interesting. It needs a lot of work, but it does sort of remind me of a game like Day of Reckoning. Graphically it's not a stunner, but I understand that they were aiming for a different art-style. Altogether it's not too bad. If the rest of the game is excellent, it shouldn't matter much. What I liked most are the camera angles during big spots. Areas that need improvement: - Gameplay feels a bit too clunky and stiff. Selling also seems a bit inconsistent. Pacing is hard to determine. Needs some polishing. - Clipping issues like a 0:29. It was the same in the Darby video. Feet tend to clip though ropes and the ring surface doing certain motions / when the ring vibrates. - Hair physics. Same problem as with the 2K games. Too stiff. Only the bottom strands move, while the hair at the roots appears to be super-glued to the skull. - Sweat. I didn't get a good visual, but models appear to be devoid of sweat/water. They look too dry which makes them appear more like plastic action figures. Hair needs to experience various degrees of wetness/sheen as the match goes on as well.

They still need to fix the impact of the attack its kinda lacking a little bit

It’s different tbh , kinda give me HCTP Vibes Which EVERYBODY been asking for… so we’ll see

looking great so far. some light fixing. baked shadows for the arena, perhaps some AO and it'll look greater. but so far minimal work adjustments. the pausing during impactful moves do seem a lil annoying. i know its a mechanic but it ruins the fluidity in the gameplay flow. unless thats only on finishers. but great work so far.

Naw Its gonna be a no from me...the visuals are unique enough to be considered "stylized", and the movements are choppy as hell. People think just because Yukes made great games over a decade ago, they can do anything great. This looks like a game from 2 generations ago. AEW fans mark out for anything
