Rick LeVan I love Adele too. Her version has a harder beat to it like she is "stomping" mad. Affiniti's version is lighter and more lamenting. I like both. Celtic music is probably my favorite genre, right next to Classic Crossover. I'm moody so the music I like at any given time depends on my mood.
Absolutely brilliant cover ladies! I attended midnight mass in longford this year. Had the pleasure of hearing the truly beautiful emer barry and her marvellous rendition of oh holy night. As I have said several times, to appreciate classical music or singing, even in interpretations of songs from other genre, you need to educate the taste and the sensitivity, to appreciate and comment with independence and neutrality any classical singer, is needed to know that all the classic versions and interpretation of any theme music can not be compared or criticized according to the same standards of more or less other vulgar or refined music. I liked this interpretation and the Celtic style that you gave to it. Congratulations!
