I bought the suite for a cheap $82. kicked Adobe to the curb, and it felt great. Up and running in a couple of hours, small learning curve. Everything makes sense, fast, streamlined, excellent!
As an Adobe user that's put in lots of time, energy and many projects with the Adobe CS versions as well as when they transitioned to Creative Cloud, Affinity Serif caught my attention probably a few years back. It's the lack of a comparable video editor or any video editor in Affinity's line up of apps that makes me hesitate. If they honestly had a video editor in their suite of apps I gladly would of pulled the trigger on them a few years ago. Even if I switch from Adobe to another creative software company I still need a suite of certain kinds of apps: A video editor, graphics editor, Audio editor and maybe some kind of media encoder or After Effects like program. But yeah if it was just money and Affinity had these same line up of programs then Adobe would of been left in the dust years ago.
Yea can totally agree with that! Maybe with Canva's support we can see an Affinity video editor someday! That would definitely complete the package imo.
If Canva's involvement(Who I am no big fan of, but my dad is) helps Affinity to develop additional apps faster especially a video editor that can compete with Adobe Premiere then it possible could be a good partnership with Canva and Affinity.
Its really funny because some creative software is free and some is like 100 bucks a month XD and they are usually really similar, I hope adobe has more competition
I knew when I was in college using adobe that I was gonna have to find a replacement once I finished, found affinity and bought the bundle it took some getting used to but it was worth it then wasting my money to the adobe subscriptions.
@@leena.things hehe yah and Adobe Photoshop it let me cancel but Adobe Premiere Pro wants to charge me an $80 fee lol please I wanna get out of this toxic relationship with Abobe lol
Yes I know 😅 I was praising affinity for not taking our card info when you do their free trial. I was not saying affinity is another subscription service, rather I was mocking other companies for always asking for card info when doing free trials.
