Thank you so much for this very clear tutorial. I'm new to Affinity, so what I learned here was a real eye-opener . Just what I needed to know for my current project.
Marvellous! For some reason, I was finding gradient tool use a mystery after Photoshop. However, this is a great introduction which has opened my eyes to the possibilities.
@@chrispwilliams6297 oh no, I loved the video. It helped me out a lot, I just hate the program. I find it crazy how we even need a tutorial on something that's easy in every other photoshop alternative excluding affinity.
This is endlessly frustrating to me. I am using this on a Macbook Pro and finding it completely hard to control when clicking, The slide bars are no longer working to change the gradient, I have a hard shade of light down the center even when I change the shade, It resorts to just flipping out and filling my screen. and just flying out of control when I so much as touch it. This is by far the worst experience I’ve had with Affinity and I really need this tool. So frustrated and not finding help anywhere.
transikk it could be your monitor if not 10 not then it will show banding. Try a print and check if that has banding. If not then try a wider colour range
