You have a great tutorioal videos on your channel, thanks for that but i must say affinity photo is not easy to use, a great software nevertheless. Keep making more tutorial !!
another nice tutorial although I don't understand the use of white borders when the eye will always go to the point of greatest contrast and also to the lightest and brightest visible in the photograph which essentially in this case negates the use of a vignette which is used to contain the eye within the image area and direct the eye to the center of interest. I will have to watch this one again too Chris as you do a great job of explaining the process and now I need to put it into words to be able to follow in the future.
phlotographer I tend to agree with you re the border thing as they are not always required. However in this case I think it helps but mostly I did it for tutorial purposes.
@@chrispwilliams6297 I came across this video and watched it again. I have been working with PhotoScape X and their means of doing borders and frames. Theirs can be a bit of an issue but I did use some white but also some matching color so I am becoming more ambivalent a bit in old age lol. I often forget which videos I have viewed as I watch and try to learn AP, Luminar (previously, ON1 and others) and now PSX free but might buy Pro. Am awaiting to see what Skylum does with Luminar Ai also. Skylum however does not offer some things that are interesting to use but PSX while interesting has too many gimmicks for many users but I tend to ignore those.
Hey Chris, I was wondering if you could tell me how you were able to use Detail Refinement while in your Brush Overlay. I watched a tutorial video provided by Affinity and they said that you are unable to do that. So I am curious how you were able to bypass that. Thank you!
I noticed that your histogram is pushed all the way to the left. I have the exact same issue with my raw files. Any suggestions on how to fix this? Thanks!
saurabhtam hi in this instance the histogram us bunched to the left because there are more dark pixels in this image than lighter ones. However neither are clipped or crushed. Hope that helps. Take a look at my histogram tutorial here ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-e88LCA3YWpo.html
