Whoooo....! Great creation of the armored owl! And again...I learned something from you...adding the pixel layer and clipping it...filling it and changing the blend modes...adds just so much more depth! Another great tutorial...thanks!

I will not repeat myself and write as usual - great tutorial as usual 🙂. Repeating this text can get boring ... So I just write: Great! 👋 I like Mesh Warp Tool, using it gives many possibilities when composing an image. I would also like to see in your tutorial how you use the Deform filter sometime. I don't use it much because it seems quite difficult to use. But it can be useful. Regards Jurek

I found pretty ingenious (and quite helpful) your technique to make the two sides of the owl face symmetrical. Same thing for the wings. And, as usual, I was astounded by the amazing patience you display in the creation of such composite. Myself, I always feel frustrated when I do not produce a masterwork in one hour or less. Obviously, I still have much to learn.

Some video ideas for video makers… Not only show how to use and make great artistic pictures. Also look at photo apps for iPhone or android that does a certain cool thing but want to charge you a subscription and show how to do all these things in Affinity photo. You may have to do a few steps but you can produce the same tricks these apps can do.

what is your process for finding images to use,,, I am baffled how you found a motorcycle fender to use for a wing...?

Hi Lance the wing is from a suit of Armour,but I mostly use Pexels,Pixabay,Unsplash and Freepik. Though it’s not easy to find what you want and it does take a considerable amount of time. Hope that helps a little …….Mike
