I am so excited for today's video because nothing makes me happier than a good drugstore dupe for an luxury product. Today, we're going to be duping all eight of my Charlotte Tilbury lipsticks. (And I have to say, there are some really good dupes in here.)
I've put photos and switched over on my blog to make it easy for you all to save/pin dupes that interest you. I would love to know either in the comments or on social media if you end up trying any of these dupes!!

Charlotte's all time favorite model is fellow-Brit Kate Moss. Charlotte, being a make-up artist for years before launching her own CT brand, used to work with Rimmel products, again a British brand. She frequently mentions various Kate Moss-inspired Rimmel collections. Kate Nude, Kate Red etc. Possibly Kate and Charlotte collaborated with Rimmel's team to create the colours for the various Kate collections in the past. Since these Rimmel lipsticks were already available before CT lipsticks were produced, it is very likely that Charlotte was inspired by Rimmel (that she possibly advised)/copied-slightly altering the Rimmel colours. What about Essence Nude Pink Brown lipliner as a dupe for Pillow Talk lip cheat liner?

I always wondered what big beauty brands think about people who dupe their products & how the feel about beauty gurus telling people all about them. Its n as a consumer to be able to save money & not be truly duped, no pun intended, by expensive brands. I love our queen, she is awesome!

That’s a really good question!! I think they know it’s hard to launch a unique color so they can’t be totally caught off guard. I did find it interesting that I’ve been able to find so many dupes from Rimmel, another British beauty brand. (Your queen is an amazing woman!! I admire her so much!)

Uhm, I think it could be the contrary. Many rimmel shades, such as East End Snob, existed many years before the CT. Another example is the Kate Moss No. 8, which CT may have duped.

Ok so another blogger just uploaded a dupes video today and in it she had one half of her lips in pillow talk and the other was in Flower Beauty spiced petal, and they are basically identical. I picked one up today (they sell at Walmart) and the formula is very creamy, like a creamy matte? Demi matte? It’s not glossy. Feels good on the lips, pretty perfect color match and super affordable, and one of the best dupes for pillow talk that I’ve seen

I found Soap and glory sexy mother pucker nudes lipstick in cinnamon beige is the closest dupe for very victoria, very victoria being a pinky taupe, and my fave shade. The only difference between the two is that cinnamon beige when on the lips pulls a little less pink and a smidge deeper than very victoria, but when you swatch them you can't tell the two apart.

The queen wears a bold lip so you can see her far away so you could notice her features on her face. She chooses bright colors so it also shows up well on photographs and she doesn’t look washed out.

When I first saw the ads for pillow talk, the idea was about it not being a specific colour, rather it adapts to your individual lip colour. (Why it’s so popular and hard to dupe) Also re: the lipstick has something to do with the chiseled tip- notice how it’s squared off rather than a point... It’s an entirely breakthrough formula, not about the colour or shade itself but how it looks good on everyone

Both Rimmel Kate 42 and 55 I have used for years. CT Pillow Talk I would say IS a dupe of the Rimmel one. 🤷‍♀️

A really good dupe for pillow talk is Mac velvet teddy . I have both and the colours are the exact same . Velvet teddy has a nicer payoff and nicer matte finish .

just came across you today in 2019 almost a year later LOL...I bumped also into a dupe for Pillow Talk lipstick and lip liner : Loreal Color Riche Matte in 633 MokkaChic and Liner Rimmel Exaggerate 063 Eastend Snob , anyway as some one else said down below, you distinguish yourself for being a well informed researcher much more classy and well educated, than most of the youtubers out there, in these days of abundance of so called " experts influencers" which are just well payed machines of creating anxiety to the people in the world.....I think that people are not stupid and really value a well informed person, telling the truth of what is out there, giving options....not every one has a single life out there, there are many hardworking moms, with small kids as I am that do not have all the paycheck to spend on every single trend marketing come out with.....so thanks for that, I will continue watching your reviews from now on! L'Oreal lipstick in Deep Raspberry might be a good dupe for Queen. =) Rimmel has totally copied CT - the Kate Blush palette has a shade that's very much like Pillow Talk blush and the Kate Sculpting Palette has a contur and a highlight that are very much like the Hollywood Bronze&Glow palette. I think you could find several other dupes if you look into the line.

Is it just me but i feel like the CT lipsticks look like the colourpop luxe lipsticks. I dont have CT so i cant compare the formulas

Oh I definitely feel like Colour Pop was channeling their inner Charlotte Tilbury with those lux lipsticks. 😂

Do you have a suggestion for a more cool toned version of Kim K.W? Or anything in that realm? I absolutely love the way it looks on some people, but like most other pale (pinky) nudes, which are my favourites, it's waay too muddy on me. PS: Loved the video!

I love these dupes, however I still think the formula's are undupeable. There is something about the feeling of the Tilbury lipsticks on the lips. Do yourself a favour and buy Amazing Grace next. It's so unique and we have the same colouring. It's my favourite CT lipstick and I own about 11. 😘

I will agree her formulas are REALLY special. That and the packaging keeps me coming back over and over. :-)
