I expected to see the same old, same old organizers. Instead, you showed several items that I didn't know about or variations on what I have that are better sizes. TFS!
Thanks for noticing Sue!! I actually tried very hard to include things that were different, thing that people have not shared 100 times before. So so glad you found this helpful 🎉
Yes!!! My cables were running loose everywhere until I got one of these. It is so good with my automatic vac, no more cables in the way. Glad you enjoyed this one, thanks for popping by today lovely.
I so agree with you about not looking for craft specific items. The example I have used several times is what crafters call bead boxes. Of course they can be used for many other items, even crafty items. But if you go o to sporting goods in the store you kind find many fishing tackle boxes that are almost exactly the same.
One of my favourites are the Really Useful Box drawer towers and desk organizers. They are cheap and colourful, though the drawers are best for storing papers and magazines in them (the shallower, thee better.) One thing you have to consider is how easy they are to keep clean and how they keep your supplies from getting dusty if you don't use them all the time. That's why I like the plastic clip boxes you can get. I've also used over door hangers too because they are useful if you don't have a lot of space.
Thanks for sharing! I haven't found many 13x13 options for those plastic clip folders. I do use them for scraps though and they are great for those. Agree, it's important to find ways to keep supplies dust free and that can be tricky.
Thank you!!! Yes 🥰 I do TRY very hard to find links for both USA and Aussies because I know we do miss out a lot on these Amazon FIND videos. I know how frustrating it is to see something on a video and not have access to it. Thanks so much for popping by today.
Great video. All the information you provided it’s actually useful. My favorite is not searching for scrapbooking storage ideas and products. I love to hunt for things that are meant to be used for other things but fit my crafting supplies.
Thanks so much Lisa for popping by and sharing your thoughts, yes! I tried very hard not to include the usual things we see in these videos and think outside the box 🌸
I've been watching you for a few weeks now and you're a gem!! Love everything you share. I can't wait for the Summitt, and bought the upgraded ticket. I'm looking forward to using all the great info when I start my organization business with craft rooms as my specialty. Greetings from California!
Awww, thank you Ashley that's SUPER kind of you to say! How exciting, good luck with your business, that would be a dream job to be able to help people organise their spaces... so FUN!
I use s hooks for hanging small quilting rulers onto a cheap towel rack bar mounted on the wall in my sewing room. I also used pant clip hangers for hanging the larger rulers.
Great tips for storage. I use a lot of KMart kitchen storage. The problem is, the stock changes rapidly sometimes so Ive learnt to purchase enough first up.
💜💜💜tfs💜💜💜 I had my room just how I loved it, and now my new chair (electric wheelchair) won't work in the room as it is so I have to destroy it all and start again, which is a little bit exciting, but also I really don't want to! LOL... as my hubby said, you have two choices, move the room around or give up crafting.. can you guess which one I'm leaning towards?
I think it's exciting!! An opportunity for a fresh look at everything. I'm sure once it is done you'll be happy you did it because then you'll have a room you love and a new electric chair to whizz around it in 😍
Thank you so very much for this video. My craft room is still a dream. Slowly taking shape. I think some of these suggestions will be a perfect solution for some extra storage. My room that I am converting is very small so I am going to be quite limited. My hubby has often said he would built me a customised desk. I have been waiting 5 years now for a desk so I am very much at a stand still with my craft room. I have picked up a few things from the dollar shops and they work a treat.🙂❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I'm so glad your craft room organisation is working for you... a small space can be frustrating and tricky!! Yes, dollar shop organisation also works super well, I get a lot of mine from Kmart as well which we still have here in Australia. The kitchen sections of stores are my favourites, they are filled with amazing solutions are great prices.
