I love this roll pin tool! Nothing like the feeling when you get the precession feeling of pushing a pin and pushing a pin straight out! I do go through a few bits as they brake if you are not paying attention if you are not straight on the roll pin. But has save me a bunch of times for quick blade swaps. Deff recommend! Order spare bits to keep on hand got mines from PJ n the CLK supply team. #Lockboss
Nice demonstration and it's also nice to know that you have the replacement punches because I have a roll pin tool like that and had a hard time finding new punches. #Lockboss
Thanks for sharing. We aren't there yet on our #lockboss journey, but many times I have discovered that having the right tool makes all the difference.
I love those tools. Buy some replacement pins though to keep as extras. You wouldn’t think those pins are bad to get in and out but having the right tool makes it a cinch! The little kit full of pins for only a couple bucks is a lifesaver too. #LockBoss.
I am definitely going to start doing automotive keys as soon as I have the money to buy the equipment. As soon as I mentioned that I was going ot be doing locksmith work I had three people ask about auto keys. I have to purchase a bunch of equipment from CLK soon. I have to get one of those followers that take out the master pins as well as the decoder to name a couple...#Lockboss
This is definitely a must it’s small mobile and effective. The one at my work place is stationary and it’s just hard to work with even if it’s nice. This is definitely a must have for a future #Lockboss tool.
I have the larger tool (with the two sizes of pins), but don't have good luck with it at all. I'll have to check this one out! Loved the Topo Chico blooper! #lockboss
There's one by Lock Monkey that has 2 sizes of pins for removal without changing a tip. Also has a magnet that is supposed to catch the pin as it comes out. #lockboss
1/16" roll pin punches exist too, but require a vise or 3 hands to use. Hope the instructions say to apply pressure slowly, those extractor shafts bend easily if you're too forceful. #lockboss.
It’s always nice to have the right tool for the job Pays for it self and relieves some of the frustration Nothing worse than telling your customer It’ll take me just a minute and doesn’t work out that way #lockboss
Nice tool good price but it's just a watch band link tool repurposed but these are easy to use. I use a gun punch set because it holds my pin to get it started on hard pins and one size doesn't fit all, it can be a pain with punches so I will have to pick one of these up for backup #Lockboss I'll be putting a magnet on mine I'm not chasing pins lol
Hey buddy do you have any idea on how to deal with fake reviews on local service ads I had 2 companies and had to close both because on one I got 100 1star fake reviews same with the other one they dripped both to 2.5 star from 5 star and I submitted a form to google but they will not remove it because I guess those fake reviews are not violating any Google policies and I had to close because no one will call the ones that will call me they where just money burners thanks if anyone know what to do ok let me know thanks
I've got a pair of those. They don't work with everything (there were a couple remotes that had the pin set too far back.) But it sure beats the ghetto way I used to have to take the pins out. Definitely worth the money, though! #lockboss
W0W Nice Handy Tool To Get The Job Done With Ease. So You Don't Lose The Pin Taking it Out And It Goes Flying You Could Put It In A Clear Plastic Bag. #Lockboss
