These affordable mandrel tubing benders can allow you bend thinner tubing than you can without a mandrel, and also bend pipe on a smaller radius than without a mandrel. Does this mean you can easily bend 3" exhaust in your garage? Not exactly, as this machine's max OD is 2.0". You can still bend headers and turbo manifold parts. Some designs require space between bends to be small, so cutting and welding can still be required. Other exhaust headers have super tight radius bends, which may have the be purchased and mixed with bends you mandrel bend on your own tubing bender. We also have many customers using our cheap priced mandrel bender to bend smaller exhaust like for go karts and motorcycles and small car engines. We think this option (even as just a future upgrade) is one of the best things that sets the Rogue Fabrication tubing benders apart vs other affordable benders like JD2, Pro Tools, Baileigh, and Woodward Fab. Even with this being the only affordable mandrel bender, it is also the only machine you can make S bends on!
