Yes to all of that for your discussion on the price points. I love black/small effective businesses as much as the next. But my life, is my life, hair companies don’t pay my bills and they don’t give me a return on investments. I’m not trying products that I know I’m not buying on a regular basis. Not happening. If natural ingredients is what I want, I’ll make it myself before spending $15 on it.
OMG! Such beautiful, thick, healthy looking hair. I'm just a black guy (Jamaican) that loves seeing black/SSA women embrace their natural hair. Keep it up and rock that fro!
I don't think I ever commented before but I just had too, the look you gave the cat.....then the cat looked at you....PRICELESS. I fell out. Anyway, your hair was beautiful. I only buy "cheap" products. The way my budget is set up, LOL. I really love Cream of Nature's Coconut Milk line. I just got into their honey line. I recently just bought The Mane Choice for the first time (it was 50% off on the View's View your deal, how cool). Anyway, I just believe that whatever product works good for you should be for YOU. Thanks for sharing.
I love this new line it works well with my hair and for me prices don’t matter to me because I have cheaper products that works better with my hair than more expensive products. But I buy both especially if I like them
I’m gonna try this line out! I have fine high porosity hair which can be challenging.. balancing the need to seal in moisture without weighing my hair down. Great video.. and your makeup is bomb!
Omg, thank you girl! 🙏🏾 I’m so glad you brought up shampooing. People forget that healthy hair begins at the scalp and in order to maintain the health of your hair you need to pay some attention to it. Shampooing is major key for my coarse, low porosity hair because it re,over all the product buildup and really cleanses my hair without stripping my hair. I need to make sure my hair is completely clean before styling to ensure I get the best results. I shampoo once a week and people always ask me how does your hair get so long or how does it grow so fast. It’s simple I shampoo every week as well as deep condition and I don’t over manipulate my hair. Btw I wanted to know if you could recommend some inexpensive products that don’t have coconut oil in them? I’ve been looking and it’s found in almost everything which is why I had to switch to more expensive brands like mielle, design essentials, the mane choice, etc. I love the products I have I just wish I could find something a lil more budget friendly. Thanks girl
I wanted to like those products but I finally accepted that my hair doesn’t like coconut anything. The pre poo from this line is amazing. I can’t believe how light and fluffy you hair looks because those creams are thick. They didn’t weigh your hair down at all
I recently just learned this. Ive been loving renpure hair products. They are very affordable and they keep this high porosity hair moist honey! And honestly thats all I've been searching for with my routine plus healthiness. I love that you've started posting more keep it up!!!
Yes, it’s Daye approved! I heard the leave in and cream were similar in texture and you could use them interchangeably. Like they’re the same, but what I’m getting from this video is you need them both. And yes we both are going get the pre-poo and mask! And thank you for the discussion at the end👏🏾 SAY THAT SUS! We just have to try different products and see what will work or our hair period.
Although this is a few years later from your video, the African Pride products are very good and I have used alot of products in the past. I love the Leave In Conditioner and the Cream. It works for me and I Thank you for your information. (from perm to natural).😊
I bought the pre poo & deep conditioner before I came across your video. I feel they worked wonderfully. Now I'm going to purchase the rest because I loved your results.
African Pride been out for years. I used to use that product because of its affordability. Never had a problem with it. By the way your hair color is beautiful!
id love to try this collection but most of the products have silicone and I've already suffered with build up and flakes from using silicone in my hair and ion wanna risk that again. i love your videos tho your hair grows really fast and it looks really good!
Very informative as always and I'm still working on a rod style for my fine thin hair, I think creams work better for me than foams, and I love your cat he wants some camera time too, lol lol lol
I have a hard time on getting the rod close on my scalp w/o it hurting🤦🏽♀️ also you provided a good breakdown on why products are priced how they are... bc more quality products cost more...
Will definitely be trying these products! Saw them at Dollar General but never heard of them so I didn't buy. What did you use to shampoo and condition your hair?
It’s not as big as it was, which is true but I think it’s pretty clear if someone has been subscribed that my texture is significantly tighter than it used it be so naturally I have more shrinkage, especially with summer humidity just transitioning into fall 🤷🏽♀️... Side note, I loved Cantu when I was transitioning!!
Lol really Chevy! Smh! No respect for the fact that you're working lol. Ok I was pretty skeptical of these products but I know your reviews are always honest so I'm going to give it a try. The only Walmart that carries it here on NY is my least favorite store. I might have to order it. Thanks for the review Daye!
I usually wash my hair st least every w weeks. Is that okay. What products do you suggest i use for my dry scalp & dry hair. Any suggestions will help. Thanks.
Like everything, I’m sure it depends on your hair. Like, I know I can’t use dollar store products bc of my porosity with my hair type. They dry me out, but I’ve seen a lot of people do it. These might work though with these ingredients. Not cold down here yet, but raining a lot.
Definitely the thing is tho, there’s no regulation on “natural” products so unless it’s certified vegan, there are still unnatural ingredients in and on top that, companies don’t have to list every single thing in their products when they don’t have that certification... Just giving you a heads up so you can shop wisely if that’s your goal. There’s only two brands for natural hair that I know that are vegan
@@mcr1077 I just looked at her esty site. Her products look good but very pricey. A company called "4 bella naturals" and " naturalle grow" are on esty too.
If they’re naturally thin, that’s genetics, you can try vitamins and it’ll help if you have a deficiency but otherwise, you can’t alter your genes... If they aren’t naturally thin, I just recommend you find out what’s causing them to thin and stop (heat, build up, tension, etc.). Edges grow just like the rest of your hair, so whatever you’re using on the rest will work on your edges, just have to stop what’s causing the problem because products aren’t going to solve it if the bad habit is persisting
Well everyone’s hair is shedding and sheds more when the weather changes. If you feel like your hair is actually just falling out and thinning, you need to google the causes of shedding and figure out what may be the cause of yours then look up solutions... There are dozens of causes (medication, stress, diet, dehydration, environment, allergy, etc.) and for every cause there’s a handful of solutions and ppl can tell you anything, and it may or may not work because it’s a guess. But if you figure out why it’s shedding, you can save time and energy and treat it.
@@DayeLaSoul lol - so tried sleeping with my rods - never AGAIN... but absolutely love your channel and thanks as I've recently decided to embrace my natural hair, and it looks much better/healthier.
