Hujambo! I would like to inquire about this notion or rumour that I hear people bringing up in conversations with regards to the age of a taxi cab. When a vehicle meets the minimum requirements one of which in this case is; not being older than seven (7) years, how long (duration) after onboarding this vehicle does a driver have (in terms of years), to use it driving for the aggregator, ie Uber, bolt etc before they demand that one needs acquire another "newer" vehicle and deregister the "older" vehicle. Is this a "Fact" or is it "Rumour". Thank you for your insightful channel and keep up the great work. Cheers!
I’m also waiting for this answer as they seem to operate differently in Kenya than the UK. In the UK the age requirements are set by the local government not the platforms and change from time to time but it’s usually rolling slowly so next year would be 2013 and newer for example.
Stori na mileage isikusumbue Kuna vile wanaweza reduce from the original mileage to any mileage nowadayz kama gari body na maintenance iko sawa pita nayo

Maintenance matters more like he said, you can have a brand new car drive it 5000 miles and not maintain it and it won’t even last another 100 miles without breaking down. Not to mention newer cars are not designed to last as long as older ones.
