OMG the Lion Acne Cream is absolutely amazing! I had to stop my prescription acne cream because I was breaking out insanely and THIS CREAM is like a MIRACLE in 2-3 days all of my large acne it has like shrieked and are going AWAY!!! and my acne scars are also going away even my old ones!!!
Guys, keep in mind some of these products are HUGE sizes, that’s what makes them affordable for me cause 20 dollars I don’t consider “affordable” but due the price per oz or total quantity, these are really affordable at the end.
Affordability is obviously subjective, and skincare in and of itself is a luxury at the end of the day. If someone can't afford to buy a product for $20, skincare shouldn't be their priority. Not trying to be mean, I've been completely broke in my life, but it's just the reality.
absolutely, the purito oat-in intense cream is 17 dollars on yesstyle right now, not the cheapest they sell but still a good price, and it's 150 ml! that's literally triple the standard moisturizer size.
the hatomugi skin conditioner is my absolute staple for my oily and acne-prone skin, and i love it so much. the brand also came out with a hatomugi skin conditioning milk, and it works so so well on my skin. i've been looking for a moisturizer to use during the day that wouldn't leave me looking like a greaseball in the evening, so i'd absolutely recommend it. it's also under $20 :)
These two are sold in the 99Ranch stores and I agree the skin conditioning gel is so good. It kinda make my pores smaller plus moisturize my super dry skin. I recommend both.
@@iidentifyasjeffbezos i believe so! the skin conditioner is more meant for drier skin where the gel is more for oily skin but i believe it works either way regardless of skin type
Unfortunately, the Hada Labo Gokujyun cleanser has been reformulated, not just repackaged, and the new formula is soap-based. From what I'm hearing, it's a completely different product. A lot fans of the old formula have found this new one to be stripping and drying, some going so far as to say that it irritates sensitive skin. Hada Labo really did a complete 180 here and it's so disappointing. Very glad I was able to find some stock of the old formula a few days ago.
Oh shoot I didn’t do enough research 🥲 I went off their official site and they didn’t really mention much but said it was ‘even more hydrating’ … I did order one recently so will try it myself too!
wow thanks so much for sharing this! my skin has been so off lately, which is why i started browsing for new products that could help... didnt even consider it being my cleanser 😣 so disappointing... guess it's time to find a new one
Thank you for this product and also thank you for addressing what affordable means and how it can differ from person to person. I know a lot of people look at affordable as "what is the cheapest?", but I personally like to analyze things in a more "what is the cheapest by ml?" so even though some items may be over $20 dollars, if I'm getting a big bottle, I'm happier because it will last longer.
Thank you Tina!! I bought the rovectine cleanser after watching your videos and I'm...speechless. I've used all sorts of cleansers before, but non of the mainstream ones worked for me. I was just looking for a simple and affordable good old cleanser that I can rely on, and rovectine cleanser turned out to be perfect.💖
I've used and loved almost all of these and definitely agree with you! I really loved the Illiyoon cream, the Hada Labo products, Melano CC, the three sunscreens and the Rovectin cleanser. I'm almost used up the BoJ sunscreen and loved it the way it was so light. Nameraka Sana and Minon are other Japanese affordable brands that I love :)
In France we don’t find HadaLabo products. I like buying them in Japan. But for my total surprise, we find them on regular drugstores in São Paulo!! As well as Bioré SPF and cleansing oil. Thank you HadaLabo Brasil!
I've never done any skincare in my entire life because my skin has always been pretty decent, but I recently moved to Japan to study and my skin got progressively worse (probably because of the very different food, water and weather in general), so I decided to try skincare for the first time ever and my best friend recommend me your channel... Sooo yeah I can't wait to see if this new thing brings me some good results~ ✨ Thank you for all your recommendations~!
I would love for you to review luxury Korean skin care brands and products!!!! I have purchased a number of Numbuzin and D’alba products after watching your reviews but I would be very interested in some luxury skin care. I have many from the U.S. and France but know absolutely nothing about Korean luxury brands 😊
I’ve heard that the Rovectin cleanser was reformulated and some people don’t like it as much anymore because they took out one of the key ingredients. Did you notice a difference with the new formula, Tina?
Your makeup looks so good and this lip colour suits you so well, full of fall vibes Loved the recommendations and would love to see you try the sioris time is running out mist and skin and labs vitamin c serum if you haven't tried already!!!!
Yo, that weird texture people talked about with the sunscreen? Hada Labo does that to me!! The only product of theirs I can use is their UV white gel (essentially just sunscreen) and I love it. I’m interested in the moisturizer for oily skin, I haven’t found one in Japan that I *love* , just some ok ones. Y’all, the hatomugi toner is AMAZING, it’s so light and I love it.
You are a life saver! I've been struggling with eczema and just generally terrible skin since forever and at the start of this year, I actually started doing skincare and other stuff to help my skin heal. A lot of products that work well with my skin are way too expensive for a working student like me so this really does help :)
I have only recently discovered your channel and I am so happy I did! I ordered the Bioré sunscreen and I love it! I live in Co go, it is at the equator, we have mostly very hot and humid weather, but Biore feels very light and non-sticky on the face! I will definitely order it again and am eager to try some other products that you recommend.
They all sound great, but I also keep in mind that Dermatologists here in the US don’t think that citrus oils of any kind are good for your face. So they have a hard time understanding WHY oils such as Bergamot are Included, other than for fragrance. I’ve heard in videos by Dermatologists like Dr Dray, that it’s unnecessary & rather like putting perfume on your face. They understand people are drawn to scent, but that’s all it is.
Love the recommensations!❤I actually bought the Lion Acne Cream and it works wonderfully.🙌 Also, keen to see a video of contact lenses you'd recommend or enjoy in general. ☺
Hey Tina, love your content! You mentioned the Beauty of Joseon sun block causing bumps and texture for some people. I noticed their ingredients include coconut fruit extract. Everything I’ve tried in the coconut family is super-comedogenic. Didn’t know rice can cause this as well, thanks for the tip!
I'm still shocked (positively) because Stylevana has a set with the BoJ sunscreen and 3 sheet masks for around 15€ (already a good deal imo) and it had a 50% off discount (apparently they make periodically this 50% off discount on some selected items). And additionally at the check-out I was able to buy the set with 10 masks for only 1€ 🤯😍
@@soymilk297 They can take forever to ship but I have ordered 5 times from them and the last 4 orders came fairly quickly. The recent one had been placed in October and it's still being "processed". I don't mind waiting so meh
@@soymilk297 I've ordered 3 times from Stylevana and every time it took about 1 month to arrive (I live in Italy). Some products are not already in stock so it might take more time for that reason (btw it is always written if it's the case). Hope it helps ;)
Love the hada labo lotions and the biore sunscreen! Just a shame that all of the Japanese products are under $10 if you get them in Japan, so the sunscreen is almost 3 times the original price 😭
@@sidoneywallen7833 compared to the prices she listed in the video ($14-17) 😅 I'm in Japan at the moment and the biore sunscreen is around 5.70 USD 😬back home I can get it for ~€15
I'm currently using Tiam now,, and i love it!! It doesn't have a Tingling sensation and it glides smoothly, and so far my pimple marks, lightens as well..
Hey Tina ! Just wanted to congratulate you for your 100k and also I’ve always wondered what is that you’re saying at the begining of your vids in Japanese 😊 love you ✨❤️
hey CIDESCO esthetcian student here! i used to love the HADO LABO face wash but i was studying the ingredients and the 4th ingredient listed is cocamide DEA, which is a chemically modified form of coconut oil. When it reacts with specific other ingredients it creates a chemical compound called nitrosamines. NItrosamines are super carcinogenic! Since its only a cleanser and it isn't on your face for long the risk is probably small but just wanted to point that out:) love your videos by the way!
in my country, ppl use the hatomugi one as face mist. they put in spray bottle and use it throughout the day. i've never tried this product tho but it kinda famous here
Careprost is the best to grow eyelashes. Asian here and my lashes grow so long, they curl upwards. This is not sponsored, just my go to for Asian eyelashes.
Those who have issues with beauty of joseon rice sunscreen is because it contains niacinamide. Not all people can benefit from niacinamide including myself and it’s so frustrating when all brands want to include this ingredient in everythinnggg
i’m so sad about the beauty of joseon sunscreen bc i love the texture and how it feels on my face but it made my forehead really oily 😩 i have normal to dry skin but i get small bumps/breakouts on my forehead. i feel like the sunscreen definitely made it worse bc my forehead doesn’t usually get that oily. i stopped using it and my skin feels back to normal now!
just wanna share: my underarm gets really itchy once hair starts to grow or when I get sweaty ‘cause of work, then either I scratch or not, the skin gets open and too sensitive until it has a wound-like texture… I tried putting the shirojyun hada labo (the lightest texture) and it made such a difference, sometimes I put the naturie one and now my underarms are in its calmest 🫰
I never understood the hype about iUnik centella gel cream. I tried and it was a gel yes, but it did not absorb, but created kind of a film on top of my skin that was very prone to just pill and peel off. And my skin felt tight and I wanted to wash it off and apply another moisturizer. Not a fan. Then I tried the other iUnik misturizer - the beta glucan, and again was not a fan. I attempted to use it as daytime and then nighttime moisturizer. It felt like primer or gave silicony feeling and again, did not absorb into the skin, started to pill.
Just bought iunik centella, and i still have unopened illiyoon, i wonder what works for me! Hada labo is also love. Been using biore sunscreen for years now and i have oily skin so i havent experienced the drying effect.
I've been battling acne since teenage years. And i don't understand any of these products 😂. I am also lazy doing skin care. But, I started testing things out and slowly taking care of my face. My pimples are huge and always has yellow stuff that makes it inflamed. If you have any recommendations please comment!
OMG the lion pair acne .save me so bad. I alway have acne on the same spot which mad so bad scar. Since i watch your other vedio, i went and search for this cream lucky one of my fav. Asian skincare store have most of the Japanese skincare you recommend. I'm like crying of happiness 🥹🎉🎉🎉🎉 thank you sooo much. I have use it for a week and most of my acne dry and flatten. And i noticed i didn't had any breakout since i start using them.. the super plus side is no scent it doesn't not Sting or irritate my skin💜🎉
I tried the Biore UV aqua sunscreen once because I received a sample and just had the worst allergic reaction to skin care ever. I think my skin reacted to the alcohol or something. It was just terrible. DDDDDD:
Hi Tina, thank you for sharing J and K skin care products. I am loving it. Quick question for you, what is that cream for ? That’s on the top of your shelf? Is that whitening cream? Do you like it? Does it work to brighten your skin? Thank you.❤
Hey Tina! Great video as always! I had a question, but I saw that you have some little bumps on your cheeks and I have them too!! I was wondering if you know what was the cause and how I could get rid of them?
Can anyone who has used the Melano CC tell me is the cream or the essence better? Or does it not matter. I see two different ones on Stylevana. Thank you! 💖
I really didnt expect from the lion acne cream being so "cream" moisturizer lol like its not drying at all. I am confused tho.. because of how creamy it is. To spread like how you did or use like spot spot treatment with the white dot as i do with benagel(i find it works best when i did this). Please tell me the correct way lol
I also wanted to have just like a glass skin in my entire life but till now i cant have thise skin type so currently im living in japan and i want to know whats the best skin care products and very affordable which can be found in every store and i do have a little pigment on my face
How do you use so many different products to say they actually work? Your skin looks great, but I'm curious to how it happened because I've been using k beauty for a decade & my skin does not look like this
why did Hada Labo reformulate their whitening lotion (dark blue)? now its a completely different product😭 i want my tranexamic acid back, not another niacinamide based product😔
@@heartbeat7488 That makes sense. Rohto Pharmaceutical brands often have different versions of their products for different countries. If you can get your hands on the Japanese version, it sounds like the formula you're looking for.
