I really want to get one and have been doing research on the different ones but the last thing that I would like to do is see one in person before deciding. I have narrowed my choices down to either the affordaplane or legal eagle, my other thing that I have been trying to decide is if I want to build it myself or buy one already built. Great video by the way
CMDR Kodiack. Really well. The controls are light and very responsive after I sealed the hinge gaps with 3M blenderm surgical tape. I’m still fine tuning it for hands off flight. But it really is a blast to fly.
Sweet that good to hear, I've had the plans for 10 years now LOL, just never got around to building mine, do have a question. Heard rumor going around that once finish her doesn't meet the part 103 rules in weight, how'd your turn out?
CMDR Kodiack if built to spec on the plans the bird will meet part 103 requirements to a T and be within weight guaranteed. 254 lbs. in the process of build now.
I bought these plans like 13 years ago when they came out built the fuselage installed rotax 503. Ended up selling it when I moved and have been wondering about it ever since. Fly a phantom now. Building a zenith ch701 now. Thanks for sharing it's nice to see one fly. There wasn't any videos of them flying 13 yrs ago.
