I enjoyed their playing. I myself play all these instruments except the Dilruba. I play upon my Rabab several times each day so it was with pleasure that I listened to Efren's playing. I particularly noticed and enjoyed Miriams Dilruba playing.
+PeterDad60 when we play these instruments our eyes closes by itself letting us lost in some magical thoughts of lovefull memories, do you feel the same?
+deeb orakxai Well I play very often, almost every night in the dark. I like to hear my music and not to look at the instrument for the next note, I find the next note by using my feelings. So I guess, yes I do feel the same as you. ;-)
+deeb orakxai I used to play my Sitar outside back in the early 1970's and when I played the wind would stop and all became quiet - except for the music. I also play the violin and Oud outside. The birds love to sing along with my violin. I used to joke that I play for the birds.
When I lived in California I played outside all the time. Now I live in Wales, in Cardiff, the rainiest city in the UK, so I'm still trying to get used to the weather. There's a month or so in summer when there's sun. But there are tons of lovely Medieval castles around, some of them have small chapels with utterly delicious and mystical acoustics. :) I miss rabab, I haven't had or played one in...20 years! Thinking of getting a new one.
