Couldn't have said it any better. Unfortunately, these young men ended up with PTSD and the very government they fought for did not prepare for them a reintegration into society once they returned back home. Many are unemployed and suicidal. Many have already commited suicide. I've been a Muslim for the past decade, but I am genuinely sorry for these men. It wasn't worth it losing their souls.

Le Mali a fait appel à la France à un moment critique où la dernière ville libre a 1/3 se sa surface allait tomber aux mains des groupes djihadistes..

Beau reportage sur ce détachement des Marines de Etats Unis au camp Griffin....qui relate bien la difficulté de la mission de ce détachement un immense respect à ces combattants et que leurs guerriers tombés au combat reposent en paix.....poignant témoignage du Cpl Jack Richards qui voulais en finir de ce faire tirer dessus et de rentrer dans son pays et de vivre une vie paisible.....mais le destin en à voulu autrement....qu'il repose en paix

But in order to complete the job you have to meet the requirements and perform the tasks they want you to do, not what you want to do. The military is the same way. You may have to do shit you don't want but in order to keep that job you got to do what you got to do. But unlike the mowing business, if you chose not to do your job the military comes with a lot more consequences
I served in the Marines at 8th and I Marine Barracks Washington in the ceremonial guard. I mostly did full honor funerals at Arlington National Cemetery, and ceremonial duty at the Pentagon, and various duties around Washington D.C.. I was in D.C. when 9/11 happened, and I'm 42 now, and it pains me to see all the suffering that went on for 20 years because of 9/11, and nothing to really show for it. Serving in the Marines was the highest point, and lowest point, in my life.
