He dedicated his life to the dream of bringing democracy and independence to Greater Khorasan/ Afghanistan. He fought against Soviet occupation and the nickname of "Lion of Panjshir“ among his followers as he successfully resisted the Soviets from taking Panjshir Valley 9 times. He fought against Osama Bin Laden. He fought against the oppression of the Taliban Afghans and talibans Pakistanis, in fact he was the only remaining opposition commander against the totalitarian Taliban afghan regime. He fought for the equality of women. He was a warrior for peace. You can find more than 100 books, 100 songs in Farsi, and more than 10 songs in Italian, French, English about him. ØHe said "Death is better than life in humiliation".
