He must have HATED every minute of that night. This was not his gig, like at all. The man was/is beyond humble. And if he wasn't going to work on a movie set, then he would have still been a carpenter.
My handsome, humble and eternally talented and intelligent husband has a similar resemblence to none other than Harrison Ford. I love Harrison Ford but I nearly worship my husband the most loving, kind and devoted husband a girl could have! I have loved my husband since I was 13 years old. I was born in 1948 do you have to do the math. But Harrison Ford is almost as handsome as my husband is: Larry Greer is phenomenally wonderful!❤️💕❤️
I will never understand why they sat Harrison Ford there with that tiny little table next to the stage when they always put the honoree at a big table with his best friends
I really hope that the release of Indiana Jones 5 coincides with a lifetime achievement Honorary Award Oscar for Harrison Ford. His contribution to Hollywood and movies over the last 50 years cannot be understated.
INDEED, HARRISON FORD IS THE FAVORITE ACTOR FOR MANY OF US. INDIANA JONES, HAN SOLO AND OTHER CHARACTERS PLAYED BY HIM WILL LIVE FOREVER. THANKS FOR ALL YOU HAVE DONE IN THE 7th ART. GREETINGS FROM CHILE
Carrie's speech about Harrison and her infatuation with him has even more meaning now since her book came out "The Princess Diarist". It chronicles her entire 3 month affair with him and how she was infatuated with him from the first moment she met him. She was only 19 and he was 34 and it was very intense but when it was over, it was over. I'm glad they remained friends afterwards even up until Carrie's passing. I still can't believe she's gone... :(
It's Augusg 2022. The actress Anne Heche has died. I feel like I've known HF forever. He deserves this honor. Down to earth, modest, intelligent, a decent human being. Love him. Rock on HF!!!!
I grew up on a lot of this man's movies, particularly the "Star Wars" and "Indiana Jones" films, respectively. His other works have been phenomenal as well! Harrison Ford is one amazing actor in basically anything he's in! To me, he's one of the all-time greats! 😎🎉👍
My favorite Harrison Ford was "Regarding Henry", stellar performance with another favorite Annette Benning whom is also more than capable of caring any movie on her own. 2021.
And to think that this was over 20 years ago. In that time he has continued to deliver amazing performances. In fact, I think his work in the first season of Shrinking was some of his best stuff in years
HARRISON DESERVES THIS AWARD, BUT, my oh my Carrie Fisher deserves one too. She has to be one of the most natural comics ever...up there with Robin W, Billy C, Craig F, Johnathan W, George C!!
Couldn't agree more. Carrie navigated life so beautifully with a loaded bluntness (often at her own expense)... a lack of pretense (life is short -- let's be real with each other)... and the honey of her comedic take on life that made even most painful of subjects easy to swallow. I admire all that -- and wish I'd "discovered" her true self sooner.
I was/am a great fan of his.. One day in New York he walked in the Helicopter Port and I was there and I couldn't stop screaming internally and a bit externally and made a complete fool of myself in front of him .. I had a camera in my hand, but was speechless ( just after Princess Diana's death) and didn't want to bother him... He came over and stood behind me..I thought I would faint!!! Greatest thrill of my life and I was in my 40's but acted like a teenager!!! ❤️❤️❤️
I bought tickets to a special preview of Firewall in NYC in 2006. Joel Siegel interviewed him on stage in person after the movie. There was no meet and greet to shake hands or get autographs though.
He has done more than I remember.. Wow. But my favorites are of him forgetting Ryan gosling name.. In all their interviews. He would have been a great stand up comic It was too funny how Ryan played along. Almost better than their movies lol😅
The movie they didn't mention was Presumed Innocent. It is one of the best movies with a great plot twist. If you haven't seen it treat yourself to a great performance.
This is awsome. ..I'm trying to figure out when that movie came out if you were 3...haha Obviously i couldn't figure it ,I'm sure google can help me... You're very attractive now though Erica
The first movie I can remember seeing at the movies, at the age of 6, was Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back which is not only my favourite but has consistently over the years been rated as the best ever Star Wars film.
what an amazing actor. and such a diverse range. patriot games, blade runner, star wars, indiana jones, the devils own. 6 days 7 nights. the fugative. air force one
LOVE.. BEAUTIFUL MEMORIES OF HIS MOVIES.. HARRISON FORD.. CLASSY ACTOR.. A GREAT ONE.. WHO BRINGS MANY JOY TO THE YOUNGSTERS.. AND NOW-A-DAYS GROWN UP MEN.. THANK YOU HARRISON FORD... GOD BLESS ♥ ♥ ♥
Wow very touching. The first person he kissed i would assume is his mom and then his then wife, Melissa Hutchinson (who wrote ET - The Extra Terrestrial movie). But mama Ford b4 the wife. Sweet son!
I wish he's young again. I wish Carrie is still around. Even Mark looks like he might go before Harrison nowadays. Those 3 were and still r my power trio. No one did it better than them. May the Force be with them and may flights of angels sing thee to thy rest, sweet Princess Leia.
Way before Pacino. Harrison was 2000. Pacino was 2007. Ford was the last at this style of table. The arrangement changed the following year for Barbra Streisand.
He apparently does smoke weed. I believe when he does press interviews for his films. He was pretty laid back talking about Karen Allen returning as Marion in kingdom of skulls
"Six Days, and Seven nights" was the best. Maybe because he does fly his own De Havilland Beaver too. What was that word he used, to describe the actress Anne?
My thoughts, exactly! Re: the one shown at this award ceremony, I can only conclude that it was true love. Otherwise, egods!! As for the current wife, who knows? Only time will tell.
@@sayrock6343 His first wife was Melissa Hutchinson (the writer/ creator of E.T. -- The Extra Terrestrial). She is not aesthetically beautiful but she is brilliant. With Callista Flockhard maybe it's midlife crisis. Anyway both of his wives have quite similarities in their faces and both are skinny-- very skinny.
