AFI - Where We Used To Meet (Official Short Film) 

I watched the online release of this masterpiece a few months back, I cried my eyes out then and it happened again this time. Just wow!

I thought the film was interesting, it's like memories leading up to a certain event, glimpses of a life filled with moments of elation and tragedy, like endless waves, I would hope that we all could relate. Also, there might be a part two? It did say "The End" and then continued to show some things happening, and if not we can kind of glean that there is some supernatural aspect to this. The pendant will protect him? Side note: What?! Y'all hate Bodies?! It's fucking awesome, not hating on your opinions by any means. Some people like certain things, some people don't and that's cool, best part of being a diverse humanity is the convergence of different views and ideas. Bodies/Where We Used To Meet might have just been what was channeling through the band during these times, these times of pure disconnection from our own essence as a life-force on this planet. Remember, we are all complicit in and beholden to the very systems that we hate and which seek to destroy us. If they never evolved from Answer That And Stay Fashionable, we would not have Black Sails in the Sunset, The Art of Drowning, Burials, Sing the Sorrow, The Blood Album. That's just what I think, though, but I am extremely biased because I love all of their albums. So, you know, grain of salt and all that. LOVE YOU A FIRE INSIDE, KEEP FUCKING ROCKING¡!¡!¡!

I kinda want to sing Phil Collin’s “in the air tonight” over the last song lol. Interesting film. The bully fulfills a trope and the boy seems to just observe what goes on in his life, so it’s hard to figure out what their motivations are. Love the last song though.

To The Clueless: This is *NØT* a film project by AFI/Davey Havok. It's a short film by *Kes Glozier* (a British creative film director and pen-&-ink illustrator). *AFI* was simply asked to score the music for the film.

This reminds me of Davey's first book, there are things make you go "Oh this could be interesting" and then it fucking goes nowhere with it.

it looks pretty from filmmaking point of view. confusing as far as a story is concerned and maybe I'm too American to get mucklemouth british accents.

I enjoyed the original release of this and still enjoy this film. There are a lot of points where the viewer can fill in our own experiences and make the story our own. Also Caught is just perfect and I hope it gets played live.

I saw just this short film but if I understand correctly this story about adolescent boy ...its nice but AFI music its too powerful for this story..story was nice music its nice..but it doesn't match together I dunno why I have this feeling... 😔
