But hurrem and nurbanu were SO similar! 1. Both snatched from family (like all concubines) 2. Both entitled and arrogant. 3. Both found out who was powerful and then 'fell in love' 4. Both did whatever was needed to keep their man and children safe (in their own opinion) 5. Both had TERRIBLE sisters in law 6. Both had to forgive some crimes coz the criminals had too much dirt on them.. 7. Both used kids to blackmàil (hurrem used Ibrahim's daughter, nurbanu used dafne's sister) 8. Both tried to poisön the prince they didn't like! 9.
