AFK Journey Hero Essence Problem: How You Can Progress

Hey Mtashed just thought you should know that in the setting of the game, there is an option to turn off auto ults for only certain characters and that can change where your cecia ults or when koko ults. It is a game changer. All you need to do is go to settings>battle>manual control>optional per battle. I just found out about this from Volkin's latest video.

It is insane how big a spike the Dark Forest is. The map recommends level 71 for area 6 or whatever but the hyperfiend to get there has a level 106 Valen who just walks through my entire team with nothing I can do to stop him. Not to mention I had to clear AFK 300 just to fight the hyperfiend which has enemies over level 100. I am stuck at level 90 and will have to wait forever to ascend it costs 1900 to ascend 1 unit to 91 and most sources give like 30 or less. It is ridiculous. AFK stage 290 was by far the hardest for me as the Seth could literally 1v5 my whole team and he did it. I used Reinier to imprison Seth and killed the rest of his team then he soloed my entire team. Against units like Valen, Seth, Shakir stuff like that you can't really cheese it. The wolf world boss doesnt activate in my server for like 5 more days.

As you said, it still is an AFK game to its core so waiting really is not an avoidable thing which is why it baffles me when people start complaining about hitting a wall (difficulty in clearing stages or story because of lack of levels). Reaching endgame takes around 1 to 2 months depending on how acrive you are as a player. And wait till you hit resonance 200. Essence will not be enough even after 2 days of waiting

I've used auto navigate to bypass certain blocks on the map when getting the big chests.

Surprised no1 mentions the corrupted team fights that net like 400 purple powder per fight and auto scales ur units up or down and are very easy....

Think as the game expands they'll loosen their britches and let you get more once there's more to do? They still kind of have to keep you from finishing what they've made dark 5 then what?

Question: Dust aside, does it matter when you collect your AFK materials? I see so many people say it doesn't matter when. But I feel like you get more out collecting your resources every 5 or 6 hours versus every hour. Like extra equipment. It has to matter to some degree, right?

Town quests also give a good amount of essence

i can only do 3 instant afk claims a day. How did you get the 4th one?

i guess its fine to wait, but i feel like my progress is slowing down immensly, maybe 20 afk stages today while other days were 50+ , also every floor now is agony, i have to look up what other people did because otherwise i just get nuked (im at 409 afk stage, 3 lvl 110 units)

If this game was just like Arena waiting and having patience is all you have. Do the dailies, push progress and then forget about it. In time you’ll eventually get there don’t rush this game.

How many synergy battles do we get per day or how does that cooldown work? If I use it for afk level can I still use it for map enemies in that day?

im curious how my bro has +4700 daily when he has 1900 from farmed afk and i have 1770 daily with 1740 farmed from afk like HOW

they serioulsly have to up the acquisition of resources man. In afk arena you can easily push into chapter 15 literally within the first 24 hours of playing, while getting most characters up to 100 and beyond. AFK Journey is great, but you hit walls WAY to often in this game waiting for more resources.

they should make it so that the info stages also display the positioning of the units. its a pain to go into a replay and screenshot just to remember the placements

I have 180 resonance and yeah...even buying the 1200% pack wont help me lol... its 2,000 essence PER hero. I think the pack gives 600ish.

I give up after dark forest 7 the game basically impossible for me essence are impossible to find, unit that requires 2 fragment is hard when you got no luck in pulling and enemy are 50k power ahead of you

Shit I hit a wall long before hero essence becomes an issue. Literally have no experience and can't level my characters. And for some reason even tho I use the same exact team (but mine is 20k more powerful) and positioning as those who beat content I'm stuck at, my team gets wiped. SO can't progress unless I get exp

i have no way of knowing so im asking my overall power rn is 153k and im on stage 446 am i farther than i should be and getting carried by a mythic vala and legendary/+ korrin, thoran rowan and cecia? *and climbing actually

Unfortunately it’s the only part of the game that really bothers me. I actually really like most of the mechanics of the game and this is the only one that bothers me because it also halts the campaign experience.

The worst thing about this game is AFK. I want to play more but too impatient to wait for days. This makes people really want to pour money into the game, just to progress a little bit further, very predatory. That’s why I’m ftp

Tbh its better to not push as much dmg as possible on wolf. I did 7mil got 140, anothrr guilde did 11mil and got 144. Killing him fast means less days that ppl can get these essences every day. But getting everyone on a server to not push dmg is close to impossible 🤣

This game was fun when it lasted, it’s a whale haven. Shit system selling unlimited dust to whales, I don’t mind them summoning but don’t f sell dust, killed the game.
