I'm a Port supporter and I was disgusted with what he did. He deserved at least ten weeks, not the puny six he got. I say that because I understand football. If I came in as an outsider, just an ordinary human being, I'd say he deserved a life suspension. Being a footballer DOES NOT give you a licence to be a sociopath. I voted against the send off rule and I'll tell you why. The umpires make too many mistakes as it is and at least half the players they'd send off would not deserve it, BUT, if the rule was in force Jonas certainly would have deserved to be sent off.

Gaff was actually swinging at his chest in that incident. Not the same situation. This was a snipe.

@@someguy1613 Maybe I can get Gaff to knock mine out too with a king hit so I can take a good look at myself? ;) Understand you want to defend your man mate, but that's like saying "I was running a red light cos I was late, not my fault a kid was crossing the road". Own up to his unfortunate lack of thinking and move on, this behaviour has no place in any sport so stop defending it.

@@bigheif I was actually saying why the two actions were different. I'm not defending Gaff. It was part of what he said about the incident. I'm literally not defending the action he took.
