I predicted the 2024 AFL Ladder! Edited by / nnoahmoon Hawthorn Training Footage from @baselinesport • First Look at Hawthorn... S O C I A L S / cados38 / cados38 / cados38 / cados38
Incorrect how? You’re pretty weak without Riewoldt and Cotchin’s valued experience and you have to pick Koschitzke to actually get a forward line up. Not looking good champ
@@musiceditz23 lynch, prestia, dusty, grimes, vlastuin, baker, taranto, hopper, nank, short, broad, bolton, balta, rioli is all experience and thats like the whole team if people think thats bottom 4 they are kidding
trent and jack werent even that great their last two years, having space where we give our young talent time to shine its way we easy top 12 atleast @@musiceditz23
@@musiceditz23as a Richmond fan I do think we have the team to make finals but that’s gonna be while until we do. I don’t think we’re gonna finish right near the bottom of the ladder but we ain’t making top 8. Cotchin and Riewoldt are big losses for the team no doubt but now we’re gonna need to start developing our younger players more. Last thing as well is that Koschitzke might not even play this season. He’s really only a backup forward if lynch cant play.
I reckon it's a good call. I don't see them moving up the ladder especially with a not very good defence. The pickups are nice but grundy isn't the player he used to be, and neither is adams to be honest.
If someone asked me who the biggest swans hater I know of is.. I would hands down say Caden mcdonald every year 🤣 man predicts the swans to be shit EVERY year and EVERY year we blow him out of the water 🤣🤣 Just shows use your head not your heart 🤣🤣
swans just came short for the top 8 last year no way the finish 12th. buddy was good but i got to say he wasn't doing the team any favours now that his out and they have added 2 great assist they are definitely making top 8. and im not even a swans fan
How will they finish that low? Cotchin and riewoldt are only losses in terms of leadership they both haven't been good since 2020. Way too much talent on that list to slide that far. If Lynch and Gibcus stay healthy they'll challenge for the 8
@kdzdr considering Richmond had results including Carlton draw Beat Adelaide convincingly at AO 14 point loss to the pies Beat cats at the G, Giants dockers away Sydney at the G And were still relatively competitive with no key forward stocks, saying they'd be a sure thing for bottom 4 doesn't really make sense. They've gotten better and healthier over the off season (of course), brought in great coaches like Yze and Newman, as well as addressing their key tall stocks. If they get railed by injuries to key position players again like they did last year sure, they're a chance, but they've shown when they have Lynch up front they go from a poor team to a fairly dangerous team in a flash. They're not worse than Hawks North or Eagles, and are probably more well rounded than Geelong Freo and essendon. Reckon they'll shock a fair few people (probs no finals though)
Usually one team rises by 10 or 11, and one team falls by 9 or 10. I was optimistic about the Hawks too but after all of our injuries I'm really doubting it. It's worrying...
Ive got brisbane carlton cllingwood port for my top 4. dockers could be a big improver into the 8. saints the slider out of the 8 best bet $500 on Lions for the flag.
This is a good ladder prediction it is nice and quick but still with some info on the teams but other videos are 20 minutes long and you have to wait ages to hear what the next team is going to be
Interesting predictions, mate. Love the lax attitude to your justifications. 'Yeah to be honest that's a bit of a dodgy one, but we move,' he says, in his own video. Just on the Saints, Ross can be a toxic prick at times unfortunately, and it's likely he'll ruffle a few feathers as his tenure at the Saints goes on. If they're to finish top 4 (which I believe they can on talent), they're probably going to want to get it together sooner rather than later, because Ross never departs a footy club leaving it in a better place than when he arrived
Felt like Ross did a lot with a little last year, if they slightly improve I reckon they can push for top 4. Ya have to throw a different one in there otherwise the video would just be me reading out last years ladder aha
i feel the Crows will make the top 8, we only missed it last year due to an umpire making the wrong call when we kicked a goal against the swans, the umpire not giving the crows a free kick when Jordan Dawson was bleeding from the nose due to a collision, and we were quit ebad at aiming for goal. If we can fix out aim for goal, we can make the 8
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 every loss it's the umpires. They were robbed right infront of me. If the crows learnt how to kick straight and didn't play catch up football in those games you might’ve actually won. It's not the umpires fault it's also not the goal umpires fault the crows player pushed the swans player to where he was standing behind the line. That caused him to move and find a better angle. Get your mummy to put some champagne in your sippy cup!! Lmao
@@td928 the argument that Adelaide should've just avoided playing catch up footy is redundant in this case. It doesn't matter if they were 5pts, 20pts, or 50pts down, they put in the work to create a comeback against the Swans and the umpire made the wrong decision costing Adelaide a very likely win over Sydney. It's not the same as a team being down by 30 and only kicking 25pts, Adelaide in the 4th qtr made up for the hole they dug themselves in the first 3 qtrs, but the umpire made a bad call.
@@liljacksonn637 it's not an arguement mate its facts and truth. Crows led the game for 1 minute at the very start of the game and were behind for 108 minutes. That's catch up football. Down by 32 at ¾ time. That's catch up football. 4.7 before that behind in the last. 4 rushed from set shots. Thats inaccuracy and tired legs from you guessed it "playing catch up football". 2 mins left in the game hence why it couldn't be overturned by the AFL so can't really blame the umpires when in reality if you were good enough on the night you wouldve been closer than 32 points down at ¾ time. Pretty sure they missed at least 10 free kicks in that last quarter for the Swans which should have been for holding, in the back and high infront of goals but never got paid. Again it's football. It's also valid when a team's supporters constantly blame umpires for every single one of their close losses this year and when it was inaccuracy. It's okay. All you guys do is make excuses. When you earn finals then you'll play it's quite simple. Losing close matches shouldn't be heartbreaking but for crows fans it is because they blame the umpires. 3 years ago Collingwood lost every close game now look at them? 2 years ago Port done exactly the same thing as Collingwood and last year they ended up winning majority of their close games just like they won majority of the close games they were in 2020 and 2021. Melbourne also Geelong Richmond. Just other examples. We'll see how you guys are prepared for close games this year. Will you win or lose. I won't say choke because losing a close game isn't choking is it? Not even choking when that cost you the finals. Just facts.
@@blade5883 or not being good enough to win the close games maybe go check and see exactly how many games the crows lost by less than 6 points and how many of those games you were leading in at ½ or ¾ time? Quite a few, then you can check the inaccuracy across those games also. 1 umpiring decision didn't cost you finals. As a whole if you won those close game's you wouldve been top so stop making excuses seriously. Most pathetic supporter base in the competition. 🤣🤣🤣 the close games are the one's that count. All season you couldn't win them. All season you also couldn't win away. That also helps to make finals. You had alot of chances to close out games. Choked against Collingwood twice after being up @ ¾ time. As a season crows failed. Wasn't an umpires fault even though you really wanted to believe it. Sydney could have also kicked a goal in the last 2 and a half minutes. Instead of complaining do a Collingwood quite simple. Win the close games even if your inaccurate which you were in q4 against the Swans again another reason you didn't win. So dense you lot are
Brisbane Sydney Melbourne Carlton Collingwood GWS Adelaide Port Adelaide St Kilda Gold Coast Bulldogs Essendon Geelong Fremantle Richmond Hawthorn West Coast North Melbourne
@Coopy4496 i put Collingwood 5th because they can't keep getting lucky in close ones and will they have the same hunger? Many teams do drop off after a flag. But wouldn't surprise me if Fly comes up with a new plan to win another (God forbid).
Predicting Sydney and Geelong to be so low is almost criminal but even though the Hawks have been great after rd5 I bet nobody was predicting them to finish higher than the bottom 4 let alone make the 8.
Geelong and Swans definitely making you look silly lol Freo and Hawks doing significantly better too. Impossible to predict a ladder these days though, so it was a fair effort.
Really eager to see how "Dimmer" performs at the Suns, or, more importantly, how the Suns perform under "Dimmer". Could be a stroke of genius, could be wishful thinking, (which is never a good idea in Footy). Not a Suns fan (go Lions) but can't wait to see what transpires. I think Melbourne are gonna collapse into a disorganized mess because of all the off season dramas, a'la the Bombers after the performance enhancers debacle. Those who fail to learn the lessons of history are condemned to repeat it.
I think people are forgetting that we got McKay, Duursma. We have a ton of players that will be in their prime in 2 to 3 years. Exited to see how our backline performs, And also that we have Goldstein who’s has a load of experience. I see the bombers finishing from 11th to 8th
bombers at 5th. Just watch. with mckay down back, gresh forward, duursma swinging back and forth. durham and martin getting older. parish and redman with their long contracts. more confidence. Just watch Caden.
Richmond 17th is hilarious. People clearly didn’t watch them last year. Competitive in most games and had a aging Riewoldt as a key forward. Think they will surprise a lot of people
Crows will be top 4. They should have made the 8 last season - they lost a fair chunk of games by under a kick or two and in other games didn’t really get blown off the field.. They’re a going to be a good team this year.
Saint 3rd and Sydney 12th is insanity. Should probably swap them. Grundy is a huge in for them. I don't think Carlton has the depth to get top 4 and I think the giants squad is elite. I was at Collingwood's practice games and they looked a bit off the pace so I reckon the two Sydney teams will get them in the first two rounds.
Oof, probably his most iffy prediction, I got: Collingwood Brisbane Sydney Port Adelaide Carlton Adelaide Melbourne GWS ------- Geelong Essendon Western Bulldogs St Kilda Gold Coast Fremantle Richmond Hawthorn North Melbourne West Coast
I actually see carlton sliding before having a very big 2025. Last year was carltons version of Melbourne's 2018. They take one step back now. Then, it's two steps forward.
Carlton make the finals for the first time in a decade and all of a sudden they're a top 4 lock, I'm just not buying it. I could see them finishing top 4 but could also see them missing the 8, can't trust Carlton just yet imo
Someone is finally optimistic about the saints, you made my day caden!!! Only person I have seen or heard that isn’t a saints fan that doesn’t have us finishing bottom 6!!! As we got to the 8, 1 by 1, I was getting nervous as when you kept calling out other teams and I was getting so excited. Great predictions caden, hopefully saints can do this well ❤️🤍🖤, if this happens, we probably win a premiership next 2-4 years
You think? Their experience is just getting older and their youngsters are too young to carry their team to Finals. Fair to say Caden’s call is realistic
@@musiceditz23they finished two games out of the 8 last year despite being mauled by injuries. almost every best 22 player didn’t play a full season without absenses. caden has been praying on geelongs downfall for years
@@ThomasHarris-h4q A great of the game called Joel Selwood led the Cats to a premiership. But where did he go? Your team was a disaster last year without his leadership what makes you think it will get better?
