Each to there own i guess. Id prefer union and league over afl. Cause thats my prefrence. Its what i grew up watching. Love it or hate it these players put there bodys on the line for the game they love and there fans.
Exactly I grew up on Australian rules it was a religion! Now I watch more Rugby league. I can thank the Melbourne Storm for that! It's like Brazil Argentina Most of Europe they didn't know about league or Aussie rules. Only a small part of England played league! Australia had choices and choose Aussie rules and Rugby league over soccer! Soccer is a good game for the kids. And the women! There is absolutely no way Australian's will ever choose soccer over Aussie rules or Rugby league! But when the Socceroos play we support them! Simples 😮

Shame the younger fan's didn't appreciate what an awesome effort it was for music legends to be there at our superbowl! Kiss ! I suggest next year the NRL or AFL get the " Strolling Bone's" 🤣👍
Theres a reason the AFL has better crowd attendances, better tv ratings, more memberships and more junior participants. Its a far better product than rugby league
@@mrfrisky6501thats because it was invented in australia. Australia isn’t a culturally influential country like England is. Rugby league is a british sport and they’re a colonial country obviously they have more influence
@@mrfrisky6501 lol you're acting like people around the world even care about league. It's nothing compared to the following rugby union has around the world
Except that Tina Turner thing was cringe! NRL should go for the Strolling Bones next year! Or Led Zeppelin. Pink Floyd! Maybe even Elvis! There are rumours!
Afl by far u got collingwood chant thats still so laud in there away games and when a team wins a close game its yeaĥhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhĥh and nrl you didnt hear a big roar
@@Mitchconner2001 very true! But we have those same small thinkers in Aussie Rules too! The Melbourne Storm helped a lot off is Appreciate Rugby league. I am one. Many AFL fan's Love the Storm! They have more followers than any league team! According to the Ray Morgan Gallop poll!
@@Rob-ww6nc simple minds like u can’t realise a majority of storm fans are qlders and islanders. A regular game of nrl in Melbourne still gets little both tv and crowds even the participants there is mostly islanders and it’s not comparable to afl qld believe me 😂😂
@user-ld4lk5pt1t dont have a case just saying it's our game, rugby is ok but its very stop and go and not as dynamic as AFL, you have to be a solid bloke to play rugby, in AFL its a mixture of big, small, short and tall. That's why the crowds AFL draws are massive in comparison to rugby, both good games though just different, If you're a big tank of a bloke you can play rubby. AFL you need a lot more skill. Just my opinion though
I notice Rugby fans are more defensive , abusive , that tells me they know their game is dying , kids wanna play soccor , basketball , and AFL is spectacular, Rugby is not close to American Gridiron N F L , and AFL is the best sporting spectacle , fantastic
AFL is my life! I don’t know a thing about rugby because I’m from WA and it’s almost never spoken of here. Everyone here pretends they follow when state of origin is on but other then that you’ll never hear anyone aside from a Kiwi talk about it.
Afl is way better. you talk about the amount of skills that is required to become elite. yet the endurance and running. afl has a massive supporting base. it’s not like nfl n nrl it’s way advanced with a lot more to do then just go forward. The main tv channel (7) has rights to big events including olympics , commonwealth games. Australia open , Bathurst and many more. it’s clear nrl could never appear on Chanel 7. now look at afl is countrywide played by teams in every state. massive fan base, while nrl only have like sydney and qld so clearly not as popular. i don’t hate nrl but wouldn’t tune in to watch it. but it’s been proven so many times afl ratings , records and memberships will always top them.
