Can't believe he didn't mention they want to be paid the same as men, it beggars belief. They'd struggle to beat a decent under 14s side. In fact I've played against a few sides back in my junior days that would put 300 points on the GC female team. Easy.

He is 100% correct. Good on him from standing up to the woke panel. Again, I could not agree with him more. By contrast, the 1st tier mens competitions should have been given the support and coverage, a much better spectical.

It's going to take five to ten years to develop the women's game to the level of athleticism and excellence that is normally expected by spectators. Give them a chance !

AFLW should be played at half time during the men's games. Either play wing to wing or bring the goals in 40 meters. Probably easier to play wing to wing like the old little league days...

Women can play afl no worries. Should it be televised more than womens netball that is of such a higher skill level and great to watch. No

AFLW is atrocious. The standard of footy when I was in high school was probably 5 times better. The AFL in its continued desire to be the woke guardians of Australia has delivered too many teams full of unskilled players. Single digit games are an embarrassment to the game.

Thank you Steven..The AFLW is a total and utter waste of time and money. The AFL had the prefect opportunity to downgrade it back to State Competitions when COVID arrived. There is more entertainment at 11am in the U13's at the Rock Oval. If women want to play AFL, thats fine, Women can umpire it! Just give us two hours of Peace away. We"re not interested.

I think Steve is spot on however it is a work in progress and I think it will take 10 years before a reasonable. Standard.. I thi K the grounds are probably too big for women. It could be played on rugby or soccer grounds with less players per team increasing player pool quality. Also very disappointed in the aflw not recognising the passing of the queen with a minutes silence.

Want to know something funny? 1899 right? That was when it was VFL. So the discussion actually ends right there. Have a VFL league like Men's did and build it not go quick force it down everyone's throats and hope it sticks.

The NBA in the states has been bank rolling the WNBA for years and it still suffers year in year out for over all lack of interest. I have tried watching AFLW and changed channels. The AFL has created the participation trophy and named it AFLW

2022 average attendance less than 2000. Adelaide match of 20,000 is a statistical outlier.

Attached to the hip of men. Give them money to form their own league. I follow my team I chose since I was ten years old if aflw side wins a flag it's not the same. Play all you like girls just don't expect everyone to care.

I agree with Steve , the AFLW is sub standard and embarrassing. It's like watching the under 12's , with only a handful of good players in the whole competition.
