I do not get any Hacivat vibe from this fragrance. This is dense and sweet. Reminds me of CDNIM, but without the screechiness and a lot more sweetness. The saffron gives it a nice twist too. Very nice fragrance. Definitely in my top 5. Hacivat is more bright and effervescent. The grapefruit makes it much more uplifting and bright. Looking forward to trying not only intense in the summer to see if it will be cloying

Hacivat is stronger in oakmoss though with a touch of fruity scents to it, herbally and bitter as well. NOI is more sweet fruity with light oakmoss.

I just got a bottle of this because I don't want to waste my expensive creed i only use for occasions so I always used my Versace for everyday use but this afnan when i first bought it and first smell i didn't like it but my wife loved it but after about a half hour of putting it on it got stronger and stronger now I love it smells awesome to me and will be my everyday cologne till I find something better but it took me awhile because I smoke cigarettes and my nose isnt that great but I can smell this and after a couple months I hear it gets better and better once it settles im very happy with this and its way better then the cdnim cologne and i see why its listed as number one of creed types of smells

i blond bought this and it arrived yesterday..i dont get anything fruity or citrusy or sweet…definitely get oak moss or patchouli..this will sit on my shelf untouched

I had the same impression at first, but after half a year it became a nice pineapple bomb and sweeter also.

i dont get any fruits besides black currant. other than that i smell leather or idk if its oakkmoss.. i like cdnim le more tho. theres something inky about afnan noi

I got no pineapple,just black currant,ash and oakmoss. SMells great tho despite confirmed reformulation in 2022. and performance nerf.

I do have the jan/24 batch it's weak not a beast as everyone says the smell is fruity smokey not close to hacivat or aventus but nice smell

Which one would you choose fpr the gym setting this one or glacier bold?

Eh, none of the above. I would look at something a little bit more citrus fresh, aquatic, Light and airy and most importantly cheap. Think Nautica voyage, Jaguar pace, Hugo Reversed, those kind of fragrances for the gym. Usually just a good deodorant works. I don't advocate for dense fragrances in the gym. it's annoying.

I dislike other Afnan fragrances i tried but this one is a BEAST! To me its CDNIM EDP + Hacivat. I definitely find it heavy on black currant and oak moss and this fruity, pineapple ish compound. This fruity aspect reminds me of MB Explorer opening. This fragrance holds the opening and mid notes for long. To my nose it doesn't drift into drydown as fast as other aventusy fragrances do. I love it. Do I own it? No. Will I buy it? I don't think so. I'm rating it 10/10 anyway. Strength / versatility / longevity / compliment factor / inoffensive / gift potential / PRICE!... I also find it kinda unisex. I'd definitely love if my grill smelled like this

Would you say this is redundant if you already own Hacivat? or is it more of an in-between clone of Hacivat/Aventus? Personally I'm kind of over 'Aventus' inspired DNAs I have CDNIM, Explorer, and a decant of Aventus Cologne and that is all I ever need for that DNA.

Very redundant if you have Nishane. There are subtle differences that separate it, but not enough to justify picking up.

to me it smells like the opening of explorer. i love that opening of explorer but hated the drydown after 15 mins.. i got rid of it. wen i tried afnan it reminded me of explorers opening.. havnt smelled hacivat tho

To me, it smells like a dense sweet CDNIM. In my collection, it makes CDNIM redundant not Hacivat. I can wear Hacivat in super high heat summer, 105 degrees. I doubt not only intense will not get cloying in those temperatures.

yeah its pretty good but I just dont get any of the nuances other people seem to notice. CDNIM Pure Parfum is the way to go IMO

EDP is the best LEP would be the second best EDP is closer to the vibe you might be expecting from an aventusy fragrance and people find it bit smokier but the smokyness is super subtle and I find LEP to be oringier. Some say LEP overperforms everything that ever exited pushing away for 22 hours plus but two samples I tried were really weak and lacked airyness and sillage

Hi there! I tried multiple versions from reputable clone brands and the one I still have, the only one in fact, is Armaf's Club de Nuit Intense Man Limited Edition Parfum. But hey! Every nose feels things different, like eyes see things differently 😉

I would say no but it depends on your tolerance for heavy fragrances in high heat.

I would say yes! The opening might be a bit harsh and sweet in the heat but I strongly advocate that it would do miracles after like an hour or two (or three or six or whatever because this lasts long) in the combination with body heat and "clean sweat".

Speaking from experience it’s a year rounder. But it absolutely shines in the summer, you will receive many compliments. Works great in colder weather too. The scent trail it leaves is ridiculous, it lingers for ages.

@@joeS163 I absolutely agree! This fragrance is all about the scent trail. I had two different batches. When I bought a decant I wasn't blown away by it but a full bottle I gifted to my close friend was epic. I gave him MB Explorer too and he rotates both. When they're at drydown I can't tell which one he's wearing but both are PERFECTLY SPLENDID! I'm absolutely in love with these let's say "aventusy and sauvagy" fragrances that are all about the sillage.

I never understand how you can spray so much on your hand and sniff it xd If I'm spraying a fragrance on my arm I always do it in separate room, one, maybe two sprays on different spots, I svoid breathing in the "aerosols", let it rest for like 5 minutes and then I gently smell it. If i did it your way my nose would burn from all the aerosols i inhaled and id smell nothing but the harshness abd and full unbearable strength of the fragrance xd

The opening for the first 5 minutes is not pleasant. Smells like an ashtray and lemon. It takes getting to the mid and drydown for any similarities to nishane and fruits. It ok then. Not one of my better blind buys. Was really looking forward to this with people saying it smelled like Hashivat. Not that close to my nose.
