Africa From Within follows the journeys of our anchor presenters, Shanice May and Khaya Tlou who travel to various locations in order to delve into the inner workings and untold stories of the unsung heroes who are at the coalface of conservation.
This week we continue on exploration of the San culture as we travel to North East Namibia to visit the Nyae Nyae Conservancy to experience San culture through a living museum experience. We find out what makes this culture so unique, what age old practices and traditional knowledge systems need to be passed down and preserved. We dare to ask what happens if these knowledge systems are not preserved and we celebrate the many conservational practices that have been in place within the San culture for hundreds of years.
