Turkey is an indispensable and strategic partner of somalia whose relation goes back to several centuries way during the time of sultan salim and later his son sultan suleyman Al kanuni. Turkey cooperation with somalia is robust and come in a multifaceted manners, ranging from education, military relation, diplomacy, health,civil society and trade and its output is immense and felt across the country. In somalia, turkey is seen as an oasis of hope and big brother. Albeit the obstacles and hurdles,i hold the considered opinion that the future will be luminous for somalia through Turkish capacity building initiatives

Military equipments won't stop old men from remaining presidents for live. It will instead help them remain longer Cameroonian president and Equatorial Guinea have been in office for over 40 years thanks largely to military and police loyalty and people fear the police amd army because of the equipment's they have. So you are making matters worse for the people but good for the dictators.

Turkey helped the Somali government train special forces that have liberated almost 70% of land from al shabab in less than 3 years…whereas AMISOM mission couldn’t control the capital city in 15 years…this is called results. The Somali army was able to do that with an arms embargo…the results would be unimaginable if that barrier is removed…which it will. The Horn will finally have peace. Kenya lost over 100 army men in less than 3 hrs of fighting with al shaba in a single day…you can’t fight if you don’t have the proper training. In addition AMISON have killed civilians in Somalia that’s why Somali civilians don’t support them…please educate yourself before talking nonsense…
