THIS IS NOT THE MALDIVES. Welcome to the one and ONLY over the water villa in Kenya and one of the only three locations in Africa. This is The Sands At Chale Island in Diani Beach, Kenya.
Like most couples we always dreamed of the famous Maldives which is probably the most beautiful place on earth. But let's face it, going to the Maldives is very expensive especially after adding flights. But a few weeks ago we discovered this true hidden gem in Kenya. A Maldives like feel and look right here in Diani Beach Kenya.
This over the water villa was everything we expected and more. Located on the other side of Chale Island, isolated from the other cottages it offers more privacy than you can ever dream of. The villa itself is very spacious with a bedroom, living room and bathroom, basically everything you need. But what makes this over the water villa really special is for sure the balcony; the view of the blue ocean water and your own access to the Indian Ocean. Lastly the outdoor seating area of this over the water villa faces West giving anyone staying there the most beautiful sunset over the Ocean.

My wife and I stayed in the over water suite and we didn't even realize there were pools on the island lol. We loved the cottage so much we barely left we also had our dinners on the beach each night which was magical. You should try that next time your there thanks for taking us back.

One thing I love about you guys is that you do what 99% of Kenyans dont do and that's why you find that there will always be some hate and racism comments in the comment section as well as some dislikes on your videos. If your careful enough, you will note that most Kenyan youtubers are not well supported and that is the sole reason that most of them either have 1 to 5 k subscribers or less than a million subscribers as compared to other countries youtubers. the second thing is that most Kenyans are afraid to advertise the country through vlogs due to the fear of being judged. Third thing is that they have watched too many videos of outside countries to a point that they want to start perfect vlogs instead of starting with what they have. I am a Kenyan too and I know that this are pure facts that am stating here. Your work is so great, I love it. Your decision to come to Kenya is honestly the best. Without you, most hoteliers would never have been discovered, you are a blessing to them. I have a lot that I would love to reveal to you, this is just but a portion of it all. Your work is the best.... Kindly anyone who will read this comment, dont start any racial replies. I support them and also support other Kenyan vloggers like @misstrudy @dianabahati @cheymuv @ wajesusfamily and so many more. The only problem is that I feel that they have not yet covered so much Kenyan content like Dave Mani.

This is beautiful!!! I have always wanted to go. If you go to Kisumu I would recommend ‘Impala Eco lodge.’ You will get to see animals at the reserve where the hotel is and it has a restaurant with a beautiful view of the lake. They also have boat rides.

Was there 2017 stayed in that tall building by the second pool. Loved the ‘Chale Time theme’ We had an ocean view on the top floor. We Parked our car at the main land and brought in by that tractor. It was so cool. Went to the mangrove & saw beautiful birds. Thanks for the memories!
