@Yamiyugi7987, considering the DRC and Rwanda are currently in a proxy war with each other I doubt it. For context one of the groups that were part of the Rwandan genocide hides in the DRC with government protection and Rwanda has "rebel" crossing the border to attack themand DRC military.
This is almost impossible these countires have so much internal problems and conflicts with ethnicities, economies, civil wars, etc. These countries have also so much different ideologies and problems for example DRC have so much problems even to manage whole country beacuse of poor economy, ethnicities fighting between themselfs,... and also countries like rwanda ( which is trying so much to create most democratic country in Africa) and even South Sudan💀
The country has already been formed,we are the East Africa Community 😂😂we use one passport and some policies 5 countries are on board and others are in the process of joining im Kenyan 😂😂
The Congo is honestly a sad story a country with a giant land area, population, and valueable resources starved by corruption and tensions between ethnic groups

This does not seem like something that would happen. But if it somehow did and there was no civil unrest, the country would have the opportunity to be one of the richest and more influential countries of the world.
Okay, let's put on the fact that this is just certainly impossible. Number one South Sudan is in a current conflict with Sudan. Sudan does not recognize it in civil wars are happening on South Sudan's border, which is most likely the start of civil war in South Sudan. The DRC is also in the civil war. This would be impossible because One nation's in the civil war and the other nation is ridgely bordering another nation in a civil war plus they have Ethiopia also in the civil war and they also counter many more nations in civil war. Yes, this would go in an economic powerhouse and it would probably become the strongest country in Africa, but this wouldn't last that much due to the different cultures. The different religion it is most likely that it would probably break up in just like 30 or 13 years or so and it would either last long if they do manage unite together. But if they start doing dumb s*** then they're going to break up. But yes, this would be an absolute strong powerhouse because of how it is. Most likely that the DRC and South Sudan might not be in because of their current place, but they probably would be added. I see this as probably a failed United think but I'll be actually happy to see if it does work and at the same time the United States might feel threatening so it might want to get it on its side. You're welcome!😮
@@darthatroxa8079 Well I certainly know a fair more than you. The two countries were about to engage in conventional war a few months ago and Rwanda clandestinely funds the M23 rebels according to many sources.

Recently, Somalia Joined East Africa Community and we’re very proud to be a part of these communities since we share so many values. This will help the trade partners to move freely in these countries. I’ve a business that’s growing now in Tanzania.

@@anoncodez Do you work for the US government? The US has always and will always stick their nose where it doesn’t belong. Gaddafi wanted to unite Africa and America shut that down real quick. Will all the resources of those countries combined there’s no way USA will allow them to stand on their feet. They may not have explicitly said anything but if it walks like a dog and sounds like a dog, it’s a dog.
East African passports, the East African flag and the East African national anthem are already in existence plus other more developments are coming up to achieve the goal ......i believe it would be a great idea for East African people and the surrounding regions of Africa to be united. Who knows soon Africa as whole will be united to be under one government
I’m very patriotic about being south Sudanese so I rather retain our national sovereignty than join a joke of an association such as the “East African confederation" let alone include Congo . The Bantu expansion never reached us for a reason I’ll be damned to join a confederation with them
Forget about these colonial monsters. Together we stand divided we fall. The French have already been kicks out of certain countries. Wake up, things have changed.
The “East African Federation” is a proposed political union of several East African countries, primarily members of the East African Community (EAC), including Burundi, Kenya, Rwanda, South Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda, and potentially the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), which joined the EAC in 2022. While the East African Federation isn’t currently a reality, there have been ongoing discussions about forming a federal state. The idea is to create a unified political and economic entity to boost regional cooperation, trade, and development. In recent years, the EAC countries have made steps toward greater integration, such as establishing a common market, customs union, and potentially a shared currency. However, the federation itself would require constitutional agreements and ratifications from the member states, which is a complex and gradual process. So, while the East African Federation remains a plan under discussion, it is not yet an existing political entity.

This must work. Get on broad. Your children will see a future with Africa. We in the carribean have prayed for this moment. We have great songs in regards to this moment. Bless this plan.
These countries range from relatively stable and prosperous (by local standards) to those that are in complete chaos. They also cover a wide range on the democratic to dictatorial spectrum. Honestly, I could see something more like the EU forming than an actual merger of sovereign nations to form one.

It would survive as long as gran Colombia did at best in my opinion. African countries can barely hold themselves together already, so unless it was some sort of nation with autonomous states within it then this thing would fall apart very quickly.
