At the end of May 2022 we started this trip from Jonannesburg to Clarens then skirted Lesotho to Aliwal North and onto Morgans Bay on the Wild coast. We then followed the coast to Port Elizabath (Gqeberha) the start of the Garden Route followed by Wilderness and Hermanus ending at Cape Town.
We did this trip on our own and its very affordable compare to Europe and the USA if your interested check out link below & drop Carl a line at The Amani Guest Lodge great place to start or end the Garden Route he is 2 mins from Port Elizabeth airport, he can arrange Bike, Car hire and a Safari. Im sure he can recommend routes and accommodation as well as cooking a mean breakfast
