I ain't going near this without an iron man suit
@bigwillietheb
@bigwillietheb 6 лет назад
what needs to be done is make a padded bee suit 7 make the padding at least 1 inch thick so when they do sting it won't bother you at all cause you know when they sting they die
@Finoid_

they could craw through the cracks in the suit

@@Finoid_ There are no cracks a bee could fit through. The older suits are sealed enough to be underwater vessels, and the nanotech suit is essentially a single piece of material once it’s deployed, leaving no cracks at all.

At school in Rhodesia, we used to have bee alerts during sport - lie down and don't move if a swarm flew by; a humming black cloud. One boy was stung to death in the late 60s or early 70s.

This was such a tragic incident, that poor boy in the late 1960s and early 70s died of anaphylactic shock from bee stings in a matter of seconds

In South Africa we got to use some smoke on wild swarms to get them calm and to work with them or they get out of hand and attack everything . Do not kill them with fire. They do cover your veil in their hundreds and you get use to the noise and work slowly to get them into a hive to use them. They work much harder making honey. I still like them as a beekeeper.
@tspiderkeeper
@tspiderkeeper 10 лет назад
You realize these bees was to never be or around right? They are a science made mistake by crossbreeding a mean bee with a honeybee creating them.God is probably going to use them and let them live ,to show us our mistake of crossbreeding bees to others. I am soon to also be a beekeeper but will deal with regular honeybees an not these.These bees are responsible for killing most other honeybees, by replacing a normal colony of honeybees queen with their own making who has them not realizing it unless their bees are marked.
@tspiderkeeper

***** You should tread lightly aggressive bees can lead to your death.I would highly recommend you have the state if in USA to check your hive.As where i live if they find something wrong in your hive.During the routine inspection.The agriculture department will contact you and tell you what to do to fix it.If it has to be destroyed they will detail how.If you fail they can probably have you fined or jailed.In most states as well you must write your state agriculture department.Letting them know you keep honeybees so your registered as a beekeeper.

Beekeeper here that deals with Africanized Honey Bees, you should have continued smoking them. A few puffs isn't going to calm them down for a long while, you gotta drench them in smoke. Also, always extra layer up, make sure there are no holes for them to enter, and wear protective face covering in case they stung you through the veil (like what just happened haha). Sure you'll get toasty, but it's better than dealing with a lot of stings, this I personally know with my africanized beehives.

they were hybrids of bees from Africa. So what the problem. "The Africanized bee, also known as the Africanized honey bee and known colloquially as the "killer bee", is a hybrid of the western honey bee, produced originally by crossbreeding of the East African lowland honey bee with various European honey bee subspecies such as the Italian honey bee and the Iberian honey bee." - is wiki. so calm down.

I'm watching this video because I got stung a couple of times by a hive of crazily aggressive bees when I was at a remote hiking shelter whilst on holiday in South Africa. They were enraged by our headlamps, and one even killed itself trying to attack a candle in the shelter. I'm not a beekeeper or anything but this behaviour seemed out of character.
@shadesofpurple7283
@shadesofpurple7283 Год назад
@@andrewmorris9013 that sounds scary. It's really weird to me that the bees acted like that. I've had the opposite experience with them. The only thing that makes sense to me is that "the science of bees" aren't fully understood yet and there is so much to learn still. Were you able to find the hive when this happened?
@andrewmorris9013
@andrewmorris9013 Год назад
@@shadesofpurple7283 Scary indeed! I don't know where you are based but I think it is important to note that these were bees living in the wild in Africa. Not an expert but they are probably just a different sub-species compared to the honey bees we see in Europe. The hive was situated under the roof where it meets the wall. It was a remote hiking hut on the East coast which only gets visitors every few weeks. I obviously notified the rangers when we got back.
