Love this system and the stand you made!! Cool view of what came out the bottom at the end!! Been thinking about getting ANC's but we have daily thunderstorms in the summer...one more piece of data for me to ponder!! Excellent video Ann!!🪱🪱🪱
I have a Vermi Maxi, I love it. Thank you very much for your information regarding noise and African nightcrawlers we live by a railroad track and it is very noisy with about 30 trains that come by a day. this is something to think about cuz I raised red wigglers and was looking at raising African night crawlers. Love your videos. 🤗
I keep my ANCs in a large laundry mesh bag with a zipper and put the entire bag in a big tote now. They had been crawling around my basement and becoming jerky for a few weeks before that, to the point it was feeling a bit traumatizing to me lol. It's really nice to know from your previous videos that I was not alone. I would like to buy a Vermibag and ship it to 🇨🇦 too, and it seems Tom is still working on the site. Thanks for the video and all the great information from true experience as always❤
If Tom hears your endorsement and comparison of his products versus his competition, then I'm sure that he will be very pleased :) I wonder if you could have collected the dry top layer stuff that you encountered in the very beginning and use it at the end to soak up the extra fluid that you had remaining. Just thinking out loud.....
That’s personally what I would have done with the dry, but we are all different and do thinks in different ways, I expect that dry shred will get moist from the extra water and from the wet shred, that’s my thinking. Sadly here in the uk it’s like spring/ autumn not summer- may not get one! So worms are plodding aging, no boom sadly.
I wish Tom’s site would work properly. I have been trying to buy one of his bags since May. There are some goofy things going on, on the site. The links and descriptions are all screwed up. I did email him about it and he told me that he is working on getting it fixed. I am so impatient I have been thinking about getting a different brand, but I keep holding out because I would rather not support products made in China. Thank you for reminding me of the quality difference, I will keep being patient.
@@PlantObsessed last time I was going to buy one, he was in the process of moving 🤦♀️. I have the worst timing/luck trying to buy one of his bags lol. I am either, 1 not supposed to buy one, or 2 being taught a lesson in patience. I am hoping it is the latter.
@@PlantObsessed they looked normal size for here too. I was just checking on my native isopod colony today, and noticed they had babies 🥳. I keep springtails and isopods for my Lepard Gecko’s clean up crew….i also keep colonies of Dubia roaches and meal worms for her food. I really do not like caring for her food 😝 I added some of the springtails to my worm bins. I completely regret that. I didn’t add many, but they obviously LOVE it in my bins. They are taking over!
I didn't have any luck with neem working. I used a whole bag over a few months in blue. No reduction of anything. Good thing it is also a good fertilizer.🪱👍🏼😃
