As someone who has actually run with African runners (Kenyans and Ethiopians), I can tell you, these guys are INSANELY fast! In a 10 mile race, I stayed with them....for about 30 seconds, at my FULL sprint!😅 They KEPT running at what was MY sprint! The top guys finished in 46 minutes🐎. My time was a little over an hour🐌!😭

If you look into more details it was revealed that the Chinese runner He Jie had a 2h6min set time marathon on March 24, 2024. This video marathon was on April 14, 2024. His time of recovery was extremely low. The 3 Kenyans runners did not run a marathon 2 weeks ago. Be fair guys.

Also there was very poor planning. The four runners should have dropped off the pace one by one in order give the impression that the Chinese runner was dropping them. It would have made the whole jig more believable instead of having everyone run in tandem. I guess the Chinese organizers don't watch many road races. The movie director should have done research.
