His kids must have a good life... That's a dad I always wanted. It's my grandpa who did such things back then when he still could. But still, one step below the travel expert...
I LOVED going on safari through &Beyond! I went to South Africa in 2021 and then to Kenya this past November 2023. &Beyond is top notch ❤ I plan on going to Sri Lanka through them at the end of next year.
I live here, and not once have I ever seen hyenas and wild dogs go at it like in this video. You have captured what not many have the privilege to see. Well done!
Another beautifully shot video. Thank you. We went to Kruger in 1968… no luxury hotels, camps etc then. We stayed in a rondavel (?) but saw the big 5. Magical
Absolutely breathtaking! This video is a remarkable showcase of the beauty and diversity of wildlife in Kruger National Park and Sabi Sand Game Reserve. The 4K footage brilliantly captures the essence of an African safari, bringing the majesty of the Big Five right into our screens. It's incredible to see these magnificent animals in their natural habitat, living freely and undisturbed. This video is not just visually stunning but also a poignant reminder of the importance of wildlife conservation. Kudos to the creators for such an immersive and awe-inspiring experience!
Ah ouais !?
I’ve been once. greatest esperience ever. Loved the wild dogs and Hyenna interaction. I saw the WDs rip an impalla to shreds. WDs are essentially piranhas with legs. Not to be confused with your doodle at home.
Just come back from south africa, and did safaries, travelled on my own, best holiday ever, am 73 and planning to go to india and another adventure, life is for living, being scared is stupid.
Thank you so very much!!!!☺ Sharing the views are, are simply beautiful!! I, I have to say the early morning in the dark situation where unbelievable!!! Yes, I am soo glad there are sopt lights to look at everything!!! The Leopold walking soo close to the two 🚙 jeeps are too close gor me!!!! Smile ☺!! The Hyenas are wide!!! But see them at 🌃 night was simply crazy!!!!! I take it the family children are with you!!!! This trip will last with them forever!!!! ☺ To be physically soo close to the nature animals is soo much of a surpass of any educational book!!! You wentcon a walk in the dust and yes, I did see someone carrying a rifle for protection!!!! You have made me instantly think about the old TV show Mutual of Omaha Wild Kingdom show back the 1960s and 1970s!! I, I just laugh and shake my heard sideways to sideways!! Left and right!!! Again, thank you for sharing your safari trip here!!!!! ☺ Smile
How awesome ... !! Love the giraffes, cats, antelope and elephants!! Leopard was spectacular and the lion was majestic!! Thank you for the compilation ... and, Bravo on your 500th post!! Well done, dear LTE!! Very much so!!
Absolutely frustrating to see how the prey of the wild dogs disappears into the bellies of the hyenas and they can only watch helplessly. Your shots are truly spectacular and unique. Thank you for sharing these unforgettable experiences.
Thank you very much for this wunderful, interesting trip under your guidance ! I have never seen so many wild animals up close. It's very exciting to actually get them on camera.
Congratulations on your 500th video! As mentioned in the past -- I have travelled extensively and your videos are superb. Your site is my reference source for luxury travel. Thanks so much for your efforts and keep up the great work! Suggestion: Tanzania is terrific and the Serengeti is breathtakingly beautiful! You may want to consider it ! Cheers!
No i've done it and wasnt the least concerned b/c the guides and drivers have been doing it every day for years AND the Krueger is a very large natural well balanced ecology where no hunting or other forms of animal cruelty are permitted so the animals neither fear nor are interested in the weird mushy humans. As long as you are in or near a vehicle and dont do anything stupid it is safe. But sure one would not be safe just aimlessly walking around. On the other hand the very famous Dr David Livingstone traversed on foot central and south Africa for over 30 yrs and was never attacked or envenomed except only once when the lion he severely injured and in great pain counter-attacked. No doubt you are afflicted by numerous other neurotic fears fostered by overactive imagination and the rare but sensational that that gets grotesquely exaggerated or very wrongly declared as the greater reality. This actually highlights a greater phenomenon - culturally/sociologically perpetuated lies and exaggerations - these safaris demonstrate that wildlife is not nearly as dangerous as asserted, it is exaggerated to the extent of being a lie certainly within the US the most dangerous animals are domestic cats and dogs but nonetheless we rightly adjust to them as wonderful loyal companions. It was similar fear and ignorance-dominated stupid assertions and lies in previous generations that related to the supposed danger of Blacks and other exotic tribes. THis is just to say one must get out and experience the real world to test for these ubiquitous lies and misrepresentations. Get out and go on a safari yourself and you will come back transformed and with a bit more fortitude and spine.
Hello Traveler and your trusty Junior Executive Assistant. He has another amazing trip to add to his "What I did this summer report." Swimming in the caldera in Santorini, Safari in Africa, Sunrise in Angkor Wat, among other notable experiences over the last year !!
Happy 500th!!! Thank you for taking the time to film, subtitle, and edit these master pieces. Always a pleasure to watch one and come along on one of your incredible travel adventures.
What a magnificent video Dr. LTE--your 500th--I've been watching since you filmed shaky 10-minute videos way back when. Even then I knew you were someone who had a special curiosity about and appreciation of the world we live in beyond the luxury travel aspect (although you know I love a good hotel with excellent amenities!). I can't thank you enough for what you've added to my own appreciation of the planet we call home. --Sue
Great experience with an abundance of wildlife but what I can't understand Is why the Lions dont see humans as a food source? Everybody is in an open top vehicle and it would be so so easy to jump up and have a snack. Now if you stepped just a few feet away they would have you.
Gorgeous footage. Congratulations for it and thank you for sharing. My wife and I are planning on visiting Kruger NP. What time of the year did you go? Was it all recorded in Sabi Sands?
Congrats on your 500th video upload! I have not seen all 500, but for the years that I have been following I definitely appreciate the effort and quality. Cheers to 500 more!🍻👏🥂
I thought you only do Hotel reviews and Scenic destinations. Nice to see the safari tour in Africa. As usual your videos are a pleasure to watch. Kudos on the splendid production.
